"House is so clean. No dust at all, not even on bed rail and window frame. Property offers free gym, bikes, basketball, tennis, heated pool, BBQ and firepit. We had so much fun. Not a caravan park, so not crowded, very quiet. Kitchen is well equipped. We cooked everyday. Highly recommend. "

"Quick in and out. Very courteous staff and helpful. No microwave in the room but theres mini fridge and kettle. stocked with tea coffee sugar body lotion, shampoo etc. Sufficient towels and nice bedding. Great view. Happy with the stay and happy to come back! "

"On arrival the receptionist couldn't find our booking. My fault I had booked for the wrong weekend. She was so lovely and friendly and upgraded us to a 2bdrm cabin as there were no 1bdrm cabin available. The cabin was spotless and had all the comforts of home including linen. We would definatley stay here again. Closest accomodation to shops and eateries."

"The lady at the reception was super lovely (bonus points for a cute doggo). The location is amazing - you really do feel like you are within the nature surrounded by mountains, also within a close vicinity of some shops and restaurants too. The facilities were amazing and really clean - there were a lot of posters with recommendations for hikes and other useful stuff dotted around as well."

"We loved the red brick cottage. Great location with wildlife everywhere and a good BBQ area twenty yards away. Owners very thoughtful as they left logs for the coal fire as we were experiencing a cold weather spell. Unique and wonderful place to stay. "

"This property is surrounded on both sides by the Grampians, nestled near the town centre of Halls Gap. Plenty of wild animals to see, kangaroos, wallabies, deer and ducks are all plentiful. Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) Bushland is actually in a better spot as it is situated by itself, whereas ironstone is located close to another house (within 10m) so if you are after seclusion I would pick...
