"My family stayed at this lovely cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed there while there was a hurricane off the coast. So we did encounter some rain, and there were higher tides than normal, so we had to watch the tides to make sure we could get to and from the island when we needed to. "Great place to stay for the weekend. Place was quiet and peaceful. The house furnished well with great amenities. Fishing and kayaking from off the dock. Also life jackets available for the kids for safety as well. Catching crabs off the docks, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. The house has nice deck in the back where we enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon and evening activities playing corn hole, and spent good time sitting in front of fire pit was great. The yard is quite large which our dogs appreciated. There is no fence around the yard but it wasn’t an issue for us. We would happily stay here again. "

"It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!"

"This was our third trip to this house.....we love the location, it is private and picturesque...we got to see the bald eagles again!!!!!! WE love the 30 second walk to the beach and the calm water of the bay! The local environment is also beautiful...especially the towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock and the local marinas. "Love this place! It is so beautiful and quiet. This was our 3rd year here and it was another great trip. The property was very well maintained, the house was clean and well equipped. I have had great communication with the owner. Definitely planning to say again! "

"Tthe history of the property itself was amazing. Not to mention the surrounding area. The house was near to the community but also far enough out to be very quiet and peaceful. We loved the open floor plan of the main level but if you have issues with mobility, accessing the stairs to the second floor may be an issue. "

"Although this property is a little far from “touristy”attractions, it is exactly what one hopes for on vacation. The house and property has all the amenities you could hope for; hot tub, community pool, beach and more. We loved spending time together in the backyard and watching the fish jump as the sun set. Our family enjoyed our stay immensely and my son is already asking when we can come back. "
