The secluded beachfront bach sits nestled in a native bush setting, and takes you back to Kiwi baches of yesteryear when the only things that mattered were when your next swim was due or when the BBQ would be started up!

Waters Edge Cottage sits on the sands of Cooks Bay in Hahei. Your very own slice of paradise, waking up to waves practically lapping at your doorstep.

Located on a rural bush block between Cooks Beach and Hahei, you're tucked away from it all but just a short drive to Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach and Whitianga via Ferry Landing. Plan a day trip exploring all that the stunning Coromandel has to offer!

The pot belly stove efficiently heats Waters Edge Cottage, so it is nice and cosy for any winter stays! This is the perfect retreat for a small family or group wanting to recharge their batteries the old-fashioned way: sun, sand, swimming and relaxing without the mod-cons that can often detract from holidays today! Fall asleep listening to the waves, and wake up with the tui calling.

As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water. There are three ways to get to the beach from the cottage and the pathway to the beach is rocky so guests with limited mobility should be careful walking down to the beach.

The beach changes occasionally with storms and sometimes rocks pile up below the steps. If the area below the steps is too rocky to navigate there is a path from the lawn to the family boat ramp, which goes across a small stream.

Please note that the oven at this property is bake only.

The owner's small boats on the property are not available for renters use.

The second lavatory/shower is accessed via a ramp from outside the cottage.

There is a security camera at the top of the drive, but this does not affect guest privacy.
