"This is a nice little cottage, tucked away from everything right on the river. I was looking for some peace and quiet, and that’s exactly what I got. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the sunroom still let me enjoy the views. "

"Really nice layout and decor. Lots of spaces to hang out in with views of the water. We all loved swimming in the water, so refreshing and hanging out in the sand beach and on the dock!!! Kids and dogs had a ball!!! The hot tub was a great bonus!!"

The home itself is spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed-including laundry and cleaning supplies-and the river views were simply stunning. "We went here just for a little weekend getaway for my boyfriend, his brother, his brother’s girlfriend and their kids. We had the absolute best time, such a nice getaway even if it was only for 3 days. The view of the bay from the house is gorgeous and everything was perfect. I will be recommending this stay to anyone I can! "

"The location was perfect for us for a few days to get away. Being on the water was perfect. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Tina was a great host. We hope to go back again. "

We had four adults, each of whom had their own room and their own bed—usually oversized—with several beds to spare and more comfy common areas than we could fully take advantage of. "We had a great 2 night stay this past month. The house was immaculate and well- equipped in all ways- comfortable beds, plenty of nice quality towels, kitchen utensils, pots etc . Our grandkids who visited while we were there lived the air hockey table too! Hosts were super responsive. Quiet, serene location andeasy still to the waterfront "

"We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...

"Such a beautiful place to stay. Had absolutely everything you could need. Comfy beds and tons of space. Definitely recommend staying here!"

"The property was very good. The house was beautiful. I had a challenge getting the information of how to gain access into the house. When I went into Vrbo it directed me to the property manager. The only information there was confirmation numbers. I was at the property the day of trying to get the information."

"My family and I had a great time during our stay here. William was quick to respond to any questions we had, and the house was clean and comfortable. The complimentary coffee and snacks were nice and we absolutely loved sitting on the front porch where we could enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay here again!"
