"We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg."

"Did a small girls night here and we had the best time! Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! The gas fireplace kept the whole place cranking with heat no problems Definitely would stay here again!"

"We loved everything about our visit from the great drive down the winding road to the delicious ice cold spring water! Our yurt was adorable, perfectly situated and cozy. We walked miles all weekend and enjoyed gorgeous snow. Excellent chef who made marvelous meals and the property manager Darcy was a joy to be around and a kind soul who embodied the peacefulness of the resort. "

We love quirky old townhouses like this, and it was in excellent condition with all the modern amenities, plus the hosts have a very nice sense of style that we appreciated.
