"Host was super responsive. Cabin was brand new and in excellent shape. Very nice, thoughtful decor. Driveway quite steep but doable. Access to the lake is quite a long walk away from the house, as the only drawback. Otherwise a lovely place and would highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture...

"The property was in a word: lovely. You can tell a lot of work went into renovating this place. My friend and I absolutely loved just chilling on the front porch each night. We meant to have a fire in the back, but we never got around to it. There was plenty of wood provided though, which was fantastic, as you can't bring firewood from out of state. "We had a fantastic stay at John’s home on Great Sacandaga Lake. The house is small but has everything you need. Very clean and tidy. There’s a beautiful view of the lake directly from the house and the access to the lake is great.
