The hotel is well located, and although there was no reception at the time we arrived, the self-check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our room was on the ground floor just after the reception; it was small but clean, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower.
Unfortunately, breakfast was the biggest downside of our two-night stay. The area was right next to the bins, the staff looked unhappy and were not welcoming, and the food quality was poor — so much so that we skipped breakfast entirely on the second day and ate elsewhere.
Service was also disappointing. On the first morning, I asked about scooter rental (as advertised on posters at reception), but the receptionist said she didn’t know anything and told me to try asking down the road. On the next day, when I returned just before checkout, the receptionist abruptly shouted, “You need to pay €2 for the city tax” while I was on my way to my room — not the best way to approach a guest.
Overall, while the location and shower were good, the poor service and breakfast experience would make me choose another hotel in the same price range and area next time.
