"Excelente, uma das melhores hospedagens que já tivemos no Reino Unido. A localização è excelente, café da manhã maravilhoso com variedade de comida e tudo muito saboroso, quarto limpo e extremamente confortável, equipado com tudo o que se faz necessário. Banheiro limpo, chuveiro muito bom. A simpatia do anfitrião e cuidado com os hóspedes também faz a diferença. "

"Great short stay to access Snowdon. The accomodation was exceptionally clean and very smart. A little bit of work to do in the bedroom to tidy up the damaged walls and skirting board but otherwise faultless and I am being very picky. Great proactive contact and helpful staff with warm welcome. Excellent adoption of technology to make stay more convenient including self serve tuck shop for an early morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!"

"Stayed in one of the lodge rooms after doing the Welsh Three peaks. Being able to park right outside the room was a really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the half price access to health spa was a real bonus. Will be staying again"

"We had a pleasant stay, in a big and comfortable room. The location of the property is quiet and beautiful. The owners, Mike and Carrie are lovely. Certainly, we’d come back. "

"What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well."

"Very smart exterior, reception very clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent (we had food for the 3 nights we were there plus breakfast) all food was cooked to order. Ample car parking across the road (free for guests)."

"What an amazing place this is!! Not only is the setting beautiful, the rooms are spotless and spacious but most of all the staff are just fabulous!! We travelled as a family to stay whilst my 11 yr old son completed the National 3 peaks and they were judt amazing with him! They made a fuss and were so wonderfully welcoming!! We will most definitely return soon ❤️ "

"WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was superb quality made from local produce. ...

"Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch."

"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."

"We can't fault our stay - the room was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was great and the hosts were very helpful throughout. Perfect location for lots of local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and climbed Yr Wyddfa one day (approx 40 mins drive), visited Betwys Y Coed (~20 mins) and Zip world (less than 5 min). Thank you!"
