"Initially my wife and I had a room that the A/C was a bit old and the room was hot but the staff were fast to fix the problem and our stay was amazing after that. The breakfast buffet doesn't have tons of options but they have the essentials and it was quite tasty. We particularly enjoyed how close it was to the cultural visit which was one of the options for picking this spot, only a 10 min walk from the hotel. "A great place to stay. Right by the waterfront and close to all the local shops and restaurants. Neat experience to stay in a heritage building in the heart of Kuching. Was a bit loud but the close proximity to the sites definitely makes up for it. Getting to the parking was a bit tricky but eventually you’ll find it. Will definitely recommend this hotel again! "

"The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved. They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. "
