"The five stars are simply a matter of value for a family stay. The hotel was clean, TV and WiFi worked well, water was hot, hot tub was hot, and breakfast better than average. I kept waiting to experience the catch from such an unusually low price, but we never did. Is it a Ritz Carlton, no, but what one pays for juxtaposed with what one gets? Really quite good value we were happy with. The one area for improvement would be the pool, which was fairly frigid, but even that was fun next to the hot...

"Fantastic location right next to the lifts Staff were great across the board: valet, spa, ski valet etc. Pool and hot tub are pretty basic though and really the only downside of our stay- time for an upgrade! "

"Great place for the price and very comfortable beds! We went for Fall Break so a lot of restaurants were closed but Gunnison is just 30 minutes away. We would recommend this place for 4 or less people as it gets a bit crowded with both beds (one is a murphy bed) but it was perfect for what we wanted. Thank you!"
