The space
‘Kare Ber’ emanates from the luo/acholi dialect meaning ‘a beautiful place’. It is an elegant and serene aboard where guests can enjoy space and tranquility during their stay. The 2 bedroom bungalow will be adapted for your needs based on the number of guests who will stay. There are 2 electric showers available which provide hot water.

Guest access
The house can comfortably accomodate more than 4 people. If the occupants (especially children) are sharing the beds, it can occupy up to 6 people.

The guests will have access to the entire semi-detached bungalow. This is a self-catering house and cooking facilities are provided (including crockery, cutlery and a gas hob).

The outside communal areas are shared with another resident.

The gated compound offers security and a serene ambience. The mango tree provides much needed cool shade and relaxation. The spacious compound offers a safe space for children to play or guests to share communal activities. There is electricity and backup solar, ensuring you have reliable power at all times.

This is a *self-catering* accommodation. We will only provide initial supplies of cooking gas, and toiletries. If you need assistance with any of the above, we are happy to assist you based on your requirements.

We have airtel 5G WiFi. We advise you to procure a local simcard for easy communication with friends and family. The simcard will also allow you to share internet using the ‘personal hotspot’ feature as you travel across Uganda or Gulu.

The 2 bed unit is located at the back of the house. The compound is shared with another resident.
