Thanks Nan! Glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify for future guests, the house is set up for 6 guests with 2 queens and one full bed. There is a roll-away available. However, there is another cottage on the property that can be booked along with the house which sleeps an additional 2 people with a queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom. Hopefully that's helpful. We do find that guests with smaller children have no trouble with 8 but adults or those with older children will quite often add the cottage. Thank you for your kind words about my home. We've put a lot of time and money into updating and decorating for the comfort of our guests. I took your comment to heart about the insulation and had a company come and check the attic. The insulation expert said the attic was perfect with the exception of one small spot. It was fixed. The AC unit is only one year old and has never fallen short of keeping our guests comfortable in the past. I think in your case the uncomfortable temperatures was due to the number of people you had in the home and the large event you hosted there on the 4th of July. You made no mention of an event nor did you ask permission to host a party. Had you brought this up I would have told you that hosting a party is absolutely against the terms of the rental agreement and would result in immediate eviction. I was also disappointed when I discovered that the kitchen floor was ruined with a large yellow stain. Again, this is unfortunate as I pride myself in making certain guests are comfortable but I will not allow my home to be used as an event center.

I'm disappointed that you found the mattress uncomfortable as every bedroom has brand new hotel-quality mattresses purchased less than 3 months ago.
