BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:
RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.
NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.
AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.
CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.
DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage. 2 Dogs Max; 40 pound weight limit.
MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.
PARKING PASSES: 4 - The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.
CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Love this place
We enjoy staying in this house. This is our 2nd time. We love sitting by the pool and watching sunset, fishing from the dock and the kids love swimming in the pool. We also enjoy being a brief walk from the beach.

Great location
The private pool, private dock and view was perfect. Large open den and kitchen was great. The house could use a good deep cleaning. The neighborhood was quiet and very convenient to everything.

The home was beautiful. The location was great. However that’s about where the good ended. When we arrived, all 10 of us, we went to Walmart & spent a hefty amount of money on groceries because our plan was to cook instead of eating out. Sunday morning I got up & started making breakfast. Full with homemade biscuits. Biscuits made & ready I attempted to turn on the oven. No luck. Called and got a call center in another country. Then for the next several days I continued to message and ask what was going on. The only response I got was thank you for your patience…. We are working on it & will let you know something. Finally they tell us the day before we are scheduled to check out a new stove should arrive for delivery. Then that mysteriously gets pushed back until after checkout. We spoke to the people that were staying next door & they said they stayed in the house 4 years ago & had problems with the stove then. Then I read the reviews & find out there have been issues with the stove all along. These people falsely advertised a property. Claiming a full kitchen and it wasn’t.Finally after several days after we get home someone calls me and offers a 300 refund. I explained to her that given the full circumstances I didn’t feel like that was enough. Several days goes by and still no resolution so I reach back out to them. They send me an agreement that in order to get the refund I can not leave any negative reviews for them or the property ANYWHERE!

Great home but needs some attention
The home is in a nice location and setup. We would stay here again. Although overall it was nice, we did have a few issues. The oven does not work, and neither does the exhaust fan on the stove. The burners worked, but nothing else on the appliance worked. I saw in a previous review that the oven did not work, but enough time had passed that the issue should have been fixed by the time we rented, but it was not. There was a countertop oven/airfryer, but it was not the same as a working oven. Chances are, if you are renting a 4-bedroom home, you need a true oven. The exhaust fan not working meant that the smell of anything you cooked lingered in the home. There was no hot water in the kitchen. The keypad to the door did not work consistently, and often we had to reenter the code several times or wait for it to reset. It seemed to time out or go offline often. The door auto locks when you leave, so we battled the keypad often. Every time we were downstairs at the pool or pier and came back upstairs for drinks or the restroom, we had to fight the keypad. The back gate needs repair since it did not stay locked and often opened on its own.
The things we really liked were the location and setup. The backyard is completely fenced in both under the home and around the pool. It is a nice setup if you have small kids or pets. We had a small dog, and she could not get out anywhere around the fencing (unless the back gate opened due to the lock issue). The pier is nice and good for fishing or just sitting. The house also had a good amount of plates, cups, utensils, pots, and pans. If you are a big group, this house has a HUGE open living space. It is even bigger than it looks in the pictures.
We travel to Gulf Shores very often and have stayed in a lot of rentals of all sizes and types in this area. We would stay here again if we knew the issues were repaired.
