Enjoy a much-deserved beach vacation at Surfing Turtle Gulf Shores coastal retreat, and listen to the waves crashing in the distance while the group enjoys plenty of seating for tanning or just kicking back at the private pool and large patio for lounging Poolside. You're just across the street from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico! This beautiful, two-story beach house features , stainless steel appliances, plenty of seating for dining, free High-speed WiFi, and a TV in each bedroom, so entertaining larger groups will be a breeze. When the sun starts to go down, be sure to take advantage of the spacious Deck and enjoy a favorite cocktail in the salty breeze.
If you are looking for an affordable vacation rental house in the heart of Gulf Shores, Surfing Turtle Gulf Shores is the perfect spot for you! Less than a 3-minute walk to beach access (across the street) Surfing Turtle Gulf Shores is a fully equipped coastal house. This cutie is right in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama, walking distance to local attractions, including Sea-N-Suds beachfront restaurant, The Hangout, and several other restaurants and souvenir shops.

The bedding arrangement is 4 Kings, 3 full-over-full bunks, and 2 queen sleeper sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals and the screened porch. and outdoor deck has chairs, loungers, table. There's a BBQ grill Downstairs by the pool.

Surfing Turtle Gulf Shores has 3 full bathrooms one is a private out door toilet and dressing room and a separate private outdoor shower and an additional foot wash.

The kitchen, Family room, and 2 of the bedrooms (Kings in Both) and a Bathroom are on the main upper floor, one flight of stairs up from ground level. (See the photo) The other bedrooms, bath, and laundry room and large Game room with a full size air hockey table are on the lower ground level.

Surfing Turtle Gulf Shores has lots of Beachy character and the convenience of location, no crowded elevators (house doesn't even have an elevator) , and ample parking. This will become your new favorite place in Gulf Shores.

We celebrated our upcoming 50th anniversary with our 2 sons and their families! The place was wonderful. It was clean, well stocked with all the kitchen and bathroom stuff you need and the pool was an amazing addition! All 12 of us loved everything about it and every minute we were there! Thank you Roy and Cindy for a fantastic week!

Great Place to Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at surfing turtle, it comfortably housed 8 of us on a work group getaway. It was clean and in a very convenient location with easy access to the beach. I was very pleased with the property and would highly recommend it.

Incredible experience

We booked The Surfing Turtle for an extended, 3-generation family vacation for 12 people: 6 adults (3 couples) and 6 children. I book a house or condo in a different city every summer for my family, so we have some experience with the process and with different properties. We had an incredible experience. Everything about The Surfing Turtle is first-rate: it's clean, well-supplied from the kitchen to the beach supplies to the linens. There was a king or queen bed for each couple and a full bed for each kid. It had plenty of living space for our party of 12. The location is great: close to everything, but away from the big tourist area. The beach access is close and relatively lightly used. Probably the best part of the experience was the communication. The owners are great: easy to deal with, available, nice, but not overbearing. You're renting from people, not property managers or big-time investors. Bottom line: this is one of the best properties we've ever rented. If we ever return to the Gulf Shores area, we'll definitely stay here again. If this property meets your needs, book it - you won't be disappointed.

This place. This home that Roy and Cindy allowed us to stay in was absolutely perfect for our family. It has just enough space for us to be able to hangout together and enough to allow us to decompress from each other. The beach is literally across the street from the home. Very easily accessible. Roy and Cindy even have beach toys and chairs and “beach approved”towing carts to use as well! Which really came in handy! The kitchen is open and allows for multiple hands to help make breakfast (There were 8 of us). Restaurants and attractions are literally down the road(10-15 minutes tops!!) As awesome as this property is the owners Roy and Cindy are the most attentive family I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Roy may not know it but we are BFF’s! The attention to detail and support are next to none. 10/10 not even close. We left a lot of laughs and joy in this awesome home the past 4 days. I think the part that gave me the most joy was listening to the clicking-clack of the kids playing air hockey all night long. They laughed and played and enjoyed each other with no tvs, cell phones or tablets! As a dad/granddad it made this entire trip for me. We will be back!!

Perfect house for a friends/family vacation!

Surfing Turtle is an amazing property! The location is ideal - easy access to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The home itself is incredibly spacious, and our group of 16 was thrilled with the cleanliness and amenities. The owner provides access to everything from beach gear to the bath product that you forgot to bring. The house has great gathering spaces both inside and out. We can't wait to return to Surfing Turtle!

Perfect house!

The house was extremely clean and had tons of space for our 2 families. The beds were all very comfortable and had tons of “extra’s” like beach wagon, towels, laundry baskets, etc. The walk to the beach was very short, all around a great house to stay in. Owner was extremely friendly also! Will definitely stay here again!

Stay at Surfing Turtle!!!

We had a large group with us for our Memorial Day trip. The house was perfect! Very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. The kids enjoyed the air hockey table down stairs while the adults were able to enjoy the private backyard screened porch. The owners were super nice and went out of their way to make sure we had a terrific trip. They had prepared a beach wagon that had everything ( toys, umbrella, chairs), extra beach towels were in the laundry room. Fully stocked the kitchen with any appliances or dishes needed to feed a large group. They did a great job preparing this house for guest. Perfect location (less than 5min walk to the beach), (less than 5min walk to beach store/grocery store), ( 10 min walk to the Hangout). I know everytime we go to Gulf Shores in the future we will try hard to stay at Surfing Turtle. We have already recommended it to many of our friends.

Wonderful place on Beach Blvd!

Brought the whole family and some friends this time to stay at the surfing turtle! The place was sparkling clean and welcoming! With just a short walk to the beach we had a great time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

First off let me say I love the name Surfing Turtle!! How fun is that? The house is really big, plenty of room for our three families. The game room was a nice surprise! We had air hockey tournaments every night. Love the location, just across the street from the beach! We actually walked back to the house for lunch and we didn't even try to find a bathroom, we just walk back to the house it was so close it's like 2 maybe 3 minutes to walk back. Where the house is located the beach is almost empty. Restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. The deck is huge. We barbecued almost every night. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's multiples of everything including coffee pots and toasters. We absolutely have found our new vacation spot!!! We would recommend to anyone who vacations in this area!!!! 5 STARS FOR SURE!

What More Could You Need?

Without question this was my best experience renting any property! The property was very clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of room for us all (Yes we had 16 total people). Location wise it is ideal, a very short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and entertainment. We are already planning our next trip for a longer stay. Cannot wait to stay here again!
