Short Walk to Beach with A Bay View in Heritage Shores, 3/2

"Keys to the Beach" is a beautifully decorated, comfortable 3/2 raised beach house with a fully loaded kitchen, 5 TV's, cable, internet in the wonderful 39 home beach community of Heritage Shores with 2 pools, tennis and basketball...all in a 3 minute walk to beach access to the pristine and pet friendly Ft. Morgan beach and a view of the bay from the back deck. You'll notice our extra attention to details in everything from quality linens, generous check in supplies, covered downstairs lounge area, beach supplies, abundance of kitchen utensils, paper towels, napkins and condiments and lots of personal contact from your host to provide you with everything you need to know or want to ask about the area. This is "island life" away from high rises and high density areas but with several close restaurants, convenience store shopping and still 20-25 minutes from the mainstream Gulf Shores area...perfect combination of relaxation and convenience. The master has a king bed and on suite bathroom. Other bedrooms have a king and two double beds, sharing the hall bath. All bedrooms have louvered blinds and drapes to keep out light for sleeping late! The dining room table seats 8 with room for another 3 more at the large kitchen island. Large 52" living room TV with a 42" in each bedroom. Roku TV downstairs in furnished bonus area. West facing back deck is perfect for viewing remarkable sunsets. Fort Morgan also is a favorite place for fishermen. At the end of the street in front is the glorious Gulf of Mexico with beach access slightly to the East, a very short walk even for kids! It's a great family resort area that makes people come back year after year! We fell in love with it there because it really does feel "special" to not be sardined into a high rise, wait for elevators but have a full and expansive view of the beach and the sky without interruption instead. Under the house is another seating area we call the "Mermaid Lounge", furnished and decorated, which is great for conversation while using the grill, playing corn hole or electronic darts for some good family time. There is also ping pong and air hockey as well as Roku TV. We have had nothing but compliments on the house and locations. We use our own house and know what needs to be done to keep it top notch and be on top of maintenance! I will personally be in contact with each of my guests before your arrival and available to you during your stay, and I require personal communication between us before your check in to give a you few specific instructions about the house.

"We had a wonderful time! There were a lot of little and big touches that made it so comfortable to stay (kid level hooks, comfortable beds, generously sized TV's with popular channels). The location is perfect with easy beach access and wonderful views. It was nice and quiet sitting out back or we could sit out front and watch the kids play basketball .The outdoor shower area was great for rinsing off and the seating downstairs was a great place to dry off after a walk on the beach! The decor was beautiful and really made us feel like a welcome guest in a home vs a sterile hotel room."

The pictures really didnā€™t do it justice. This was a super cute beach house! Having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry made our family vacation so much more manageable than being stuck in a hotel. We were able to cook all of our meals so we saved a ton of money because the restaurants and stores are very expensive. Having the downstairs gaming and entertainment areas were perfect for grilling steaks, listening to music and hanging out. We chose to go the weekend after Memorial Day weekend and the neighborhood was very quiet. The 2 pools are right across the street next to the courts. Maybe we just walk super slow but the public beach access is a bit further than 3 minutes, especially when you are carrying a lot of stuff. On that note, I would recommend only bringing bare minimum to the beach! This was our first time on an Alabama beach and that sand is something else! Talk about a workout, Lol. Our family had a wonderful and relaxing time.

We chose Keys to the Beach for a celebration vacation for our 30th wedding Anniversary with our closest friends. It did not disappoint! From the decor to the stocked kitchen it felt like home. The ā€œbasementā€ full of beach goodies and games to play gave us plenty to do. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we will surely visit again!!

This is hands down the best beach house we've ever stayed in, and honestly, I'm hesitant to write this review because I want to keep it available for us next time! But it deserves to be shared. This house is more than just a rental ā€“ it truly feels like a vacation home. You can pack your clothes and food for the week and just show up. No need to bring every kitchen gadget you own ā€“ this kitchen is fully stocked for someone who actually cooks! Plus, thereā€™s no scrambling to remember beach towels, wagons, or toys for the kids ā€“ it's all here. And the beds... wow. The sheets are unbelievably soft, and the mattresses are so comfortable! For the first time in years, I slept soundly on the very first night. The house is also beautifully and tastefully decorated. Every room feels thoughtfully curated, with a style thatā€™s both cozy and fresh, making it easy to settle in and relax. As someone whoā€™s a clean freak, I was impressed. I did check the baseboards (a little dust, but honestly, mine at home could use a touch-up too!). Overall, this house is very clean, and even though it's pet-friendly, I had no issues sitting on the sofa. The floors were spotless ā€“ until we brought in some sand, but thankfully, there was a vacuum on hand to tidy up. What sets this place apart is how instantly at home we felt. The hostess's thoughtful touches are evident, even without her being there in person. Itā€™s rare to find a place like this, and we can't wait to return. Highly, highly recommend this

This home was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen lacked for nothing and provided all we needed to cook a few meals during the week. I REALLY appreciated all of the hooks throughout the home for towels, wet swimsuits, clothing. May sound simple, but we've stayed in so many places that lacked those! Marcia was the most responsive owner I've ever dealt with. She was very quick to address any problems or missing items that were found in the home! Aside from a few jellyfish stings - we had a great week in Fort Morgan!

Marcia was super helpful and responsive during our stay and prior. She went above and beyond to accommodate my request to move my reservation. The property is just as described. We really enjoyed the seating under the house. It was so nice to be able relax outside after a day on the beach. The views from the back deck were awesome. Plenty of room for a big family. We enjoyed our stay!

Upon our arrival I realized my new phone didnā€™t transfer my gmail yet, therefore no code to enter the house. I called Marcia and she answered 1st time giving me the code.Whew! The Keys to the Beach was just as advertised and even better. We loved hanging out downstairs at night after supper. The kitchen had so many thoughtful items that you might tend to forget. The decor was so cute and artistic. The beds so soft, the neighbourhood, so quiet. Iā€™ve all ready booked for next year. Tiger/Dawg beach bum

The house was lovely. Nice location. Beautiful views. Location--the pool is right across the street and the beach is just a short walk (a few mins). I loved that it was more secluded, the atmosphere was more relaxing. Close to the hustle and bustle if that is what you prefer. A few good food choices close by. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Amenities--the house had everything that we needed and didn't have to buy or bring anything extra for the beach. Wagons, chairs, umbrellas, toys, beach towels, you name it. There are gates on the upper levels for the littles, as well as one downstairs in the family game area. Pack-n-play, highchair. Very well stocked in the kitchen and the grill was nice. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended.

The house is in a very quiet & relaxing area. Beach is wonderful & not overcrowded. Both pools & clubhouse were great. The house was clean & very well stocked. The beds really are so comfortable...everyone kept saying that! The downstairs area was an added bonus & loved by our grandkids. The host is very attentive & gracious when answering all our questions. We had a fantastic week & will be back.

This is the nicest, cleanest and best stocked beach house we have ever rented. It is so nice to be able to unpack there first day and not have to make a trip to the store for anything. We had 5 adults and a dog, and we all had plenty of space. The beds are wonderful. I slept better than I have in months! Our first night home we all agreed that our beds ( and they are new too!) werenā€™t nearly as comfy as Keys to the Beach! I have arthritis in my knees but was able to make the walk to the beach easily. It is a very secluded and peaceful area. The use of the downstairs place as a recreation area is genius. Would love to come back in the future. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star on description was the air hockey table didnā€™t work well and one of the pools was closed the whole week ( but that is nothing the owner could control). You canā€™t go wrong with Keys to the Beach!

This property is by far one of the best we have stayed at. We were literally minutes from the beach, seconds away from the pools, and clubhouse. The host is amazing. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The house was very clean and well stocked. 10 out of 10. We cant wait to stay here again.

This place was great! It was a 5 minute walk to the MOST beautiful beach. The house includes a lot of thoughtful details (throw blankets, comfortable furniture, condiments, etc.) and was a great place for our family. We used the kitchen a lot and had everything we needed.

Our family of 7 enjoyed our Fort Morgan- 9 day Thanksgiving vacation so, so much! The weather was mostly good and the pools, tennis courts, house and beaches were spectacular! As a family with 2 adult children, there was plenty of room for all of us and our fur baby! Everything was clean & comfy. Living/dining/kitchen area was open and spacious. Loved the decor! Plenty of dishes, extra blankets for relaxing on the sofa. Quiet, uncrowded neighborhood, pool, and beach. The back porch really catches the breeze and is a great spot for coffee and reading. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Keys to the Beach. The house was clean and well stocked. There was a pack-n-play and high chair for the baby, toys and books for the kids and plenty of beach chairs! The downstairs area was great for grilling and hanging out after a long day in the sun. The pools were cool and refreshing. We were looking for a place a little off the beaten path and with a little less traffic. The beaches were quiet and clean but we still had access to restaurants. It was the perfect location. We highly recommend this place for a family get-away.

We enjoyed our stay at Keys to the beach. It was clean with a lot of extras. The only thing I would say is we didnā€™t have much space for our clothes in the master bedroom. There was only a small section of the closet usable for guest and 2 of the drawers were full of sheets. The hot water wasnā€™t very hot in the bathrooms and the cold water in the kitchen was not cold at all. I noticed a good bit of nails on the floor in the area under the house. The owner was very nice and made sure everything was good at the house. Most houses we have rented always come with a start up of supplies in a small amount. There was no paper towels and only a few pieces of toilet paper on arrival, so be prepared to go to the store quickly.

House exceeded expectations with everything we needed. Kids enjoyed extras provided so we didn't have to pack beach toys, floats and chairs which was great for adults. Pools were a great plus for kids and adults. Owner was always available if we have questions. It was our best vacation in several years and plans are being made to return soon.
