  • "Welcome to Pelican's Rest, a fantastic three-bedroom, two-bath beach house offering an ideal retreat on Alabama's Gulf Coast. Nestled amidst the beautiful sands, this house is perfect for a wonderful family vacation. Just a short stroll from the beach, the home boasts a huge balcony with breathtaking views and comfortable furnishings, promising an unforgettable vacation experience. Imagine relaxing on the balcony after a day of fun in the sun, enjoying meals with loved ones, and witnessing stunning sunsets.

    Step inside and discover the spacious layout and modern comforts this house has to offer. The living room features cozy armchairs, a comfortable sofa, and a new flat-screen TV. The large kitchen opens up to a dining area that accommodates six people and the spacious living area, making it an excellent space for entertainment. The Master suite provides a fantastic queen bed and a large master bath. The guest bedroom also offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom features two twins, with a shared bath conveniently located in the hallway.

    Fort Morgan, a region abundant with history and surrounded by nature and wildlife, offers a serene and low-density area while remaining convenient to all that Gulf Shores has to offer. It's the perfect spot for peace and tranquility.

    Winter Season bookings (January and February) require a 60-day minimum stay for reservations made before October 1st. Reservations made after October 1st vary between three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications.

    Professionally managed by Poole and Associates,
    the property provides essential information such as the requirement for Vehicle Registration Tags and the provision of linens. The reservation also includes a 'starter set' of necessary items. Policies stipulate that renters must be at least 25 years old, require a photo ID at check-in, prohibit smoking, and do not allow pets. Contact for monthly 'Snowbird' rates available from November through February."

Adorable House

The house had the perfect layout inside. The decorations were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to cook. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes but the burrs were brutal. A weed eater would do the job. Overall we had a great time and would rent this house again.

Beach getaway

The house was just as described. We had plenty of room for our group of seven. The walk to the beach wasnā€™t to bad (about 5-10mins) we realized there was a shorter access point to the right our last day there. Management was very polite and easy to get in touch with. The beaches werenā€™t crowded at all. We would stay here again.

Great place

Great family rental. The appliances and stocked pots/pans and kitchen utensils were great. The house is slightly dated but very well decorated. The A/C unit would work at times but shut off before reaching target temperature. However, the wonderful Fall weather helped us to not rely on the A/C too much. The walk to the beach took us around 5 minutes (thatā€™s with young kids). We had a great time!

We loved the house.

Good morning. We loved the house. When we pulled up we seen the red light . They was a smell but my husband said it was probably from all of the rain and the water cuz I. Come to find out the last night that we were there it got really was really bad the last day and night My husband Google the red light and it was a sewage so we got looking and the sewage that was kind of open and there was suit paper in the bathroom has came up in the sewage and the whole time we was there out walking around and everything that's male was from the septic tank and I wish we would have found it earlier so we would have time to call and reported it but I hope they've got it fixed cuz it was reported

First family vacation!

We arrived around 10:30 pm so we had a late check in but it was very easy. Drive to the office, pick up a packet outside the door, go to the house. The keys were a bit agravating. They gave me two keys one for front door and one for back door but they arenā€™t marked to indicate which and the front door (door facing beach) has a deadbolt which neither key worked for. That was frustrating. The listing also is not pet friendly but we found that previous tenants must have not cared about that because there was pieces of dog food in the living room and dog hair through the house. We didnā€™t really care about any of that we were just thankful to be on vacation and be staying in such a beautiful house. The pictures really donā€™t do it justice. Wish it was beach front or maybe even 2nd row because the sharp grass makes the walk to the beach somewhat unpleasant but overall this trip was a blast. The property was great, check in and check out was easy. 10/10 would reccomend.

Perfect beach week

The house was just like the pictures! Great price for the quality of the house and beach. Plenty of room for 6 people. The walk to the beach was short and once on the beach it was almost like having our own private beach! Our last day there we got to see baby sea turtle hatch and make their way to the ocean with the help of Share the Beach volunteers! Couldnā€™t have been a better week!

Needed Break from COVID Isolation

This house was perfect size and price point for our group. We really enjoyed the deck and the short walk to the beach. The girls were well pleased with the size of the kitchen and its appointments. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming again ourselves.

Cute place, very comfortable

My mom, daughter (14), friend and her daughter (12) stayed for a week at Pelican's Rest. The decor is so lovely, furniture and beds very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The interior was perfect! The only minor drawbacks were that the grill was so rusty it was almost rotted through (but an easy fix for the owner) and there is only one TV - there should be at least one other TV in a 3 bedroom. We used to have a Gulf Shores rental that had one bedroom and two TVs. Sometimes kids want a different movie at night than the grownups. The walk to the beach was easy. There was a problem with the septic after a torrential rain that the property management kept us updated on and it was fixed within the day! Other houses nearby had similar issues, just one of the things that happen with storms at the beach. Overall we loved the house and had a great stay!!

Excellent beach vacation house

This house was an excellent choice for a beach vacation. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice space with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The rooms were all well appointed. The WIFI was flawless. 90 second walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

Great place!

Overall, it was perfect for us. It was a last minute booking, so I was happy with how close we were able to get to the beach in the middle of summer, especially for the price. My parents are older and not in the best heath, so it was a little hard on them to walk to the beach with it being so hot, but we were able to drive them in less than two minutes, so no big deal. The house was super cute and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. We could not get the garbage disposal to work, but not a big deal. My only suggestion would be to paint lines or something noticeable on the concrete step up below the house. I was carrying my one year old and did not see it, causing me to trip and fall, giving my knees a really good scrape and scaring my little one pretty bad. Overall, if my parents are not with us, will definitely stay here again.
