"Be As You Are" is a delightful 3-bedroom 2 bath, newly renovated 2nd tier Gulf View home...the beach is just across the street! The expansive front deck gives breathtaking views of the sugar white sand beaches & rolling waves. The home's open concept living/kitchen/dining area is the perfect place for the whole family to gather together, relax, and just Be As You Are! The home just received a complete interior and exterior remodel! There is new interior and exterior paint, a new front porch, sundeck and back porch, new furnishings, new bedding, totally updated kitchen and appliances, updated bathrooms, and much more. Every inch is new! The large downstairs area provides additional outdoor living area featuring a porch swing, picnic table, grill, and outdoor shower. The beach access across the small beach road makes it a great choice for relaxing at the beach!

The home is equipped with a full size washer and dryer and full size kitchen appliances, including an under counter ice maker. The small appliances include a coffee maker, toaster, blender, hand mixer and a can opener. The cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. A "one day" supply of hand washing & automatic dish washing detergent, cloths detergent, one garbage bag & one roll of paper towels are supplied. Please bring food, paper good, detergents, and more trash bags. The beds are made with fresh white linen and a sofa sleeper linen set is provided. Both bathrooms are supplied with one roll of toilet tissue, a personal bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner. Please bring beach towels and toiletries.

PET FRIENDLY: Owner allows one dog with a 80-pound limit. Must be leashed when outside of house or at the beach. Pet owner must clean up behind them. No cats are are allowed. Other types of pets may be allowed upon approval.

Excellent Property

We stayed at this property for a full week and couldnt have been happier. It is a tad smaller than i initially thought but that didnt make a difference. With 4 adults and 2 young children we still had plenty of room. Everything was really nice and updated with except the couches but that didnt bother us. Beach access was within 30 yards which was nice and house is close enough you can hear the waves from the deck. Below the house is a nice outdoor shower and lots of new beach chairs and boogie boards for the kids. We loved this place and im sure you will too.

Great Rental

This rental was just what we were expecting for a quick getaway. It was just as the photos showed and had close beach access. The large front porch was a hit for relaxing. We loved it.

Peaceful, Easy Feeling

This property is in a quiet neighborhood and a beautiful location. There was very minimal traffic or sounds from neighbors. The ocean is visible from the deck of this home and the beach was never crowded. I highly recommend this home and will be looking forward to my next stay here.

Spring break trip

It was a wonderful home. This was our first trip to Gulf Shores. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. You are definitely about 50 feet to the ocean from the house. The only thing that I would say is to equip the house with good cleaning supplies and a sturdy vacuum. Itā€™s almost Impossible to keep the sand out of the house. The only supplies provided was a broom, dust pan, and a very old small dirt devil vacuum. It was simply not up to the task. Definitely bring dish soap, scrub pad, and laundry detergent, as well as countertop cleaner to keep the house clean during your stay because it was not provided as well.Everything else was fabulous and exactly as advertised.

Front porch comfort with views

Nice home. Easy access to the beach! Loved the front porch! Great porch for dog to enjoy also. Neither hairdryers worked. Possibly blown fuses in both bathrooms. No reset buttons on either outlet. Overall it was an enjoyable relaxing time!

Beautiful place.. we loved the under the counter ice machine.. this beach house was so relaxing. The only negative thing I can say is for an older person such as my husband and I the walk to the beach was further than I imagined. The beds were very comfortable and we loved this place!

Nice bright clean property, super close to beach access. Had most of what you would need but some storage containers for the kitchen would be nice. This was a group of 50 and over and we all loved the house! The area under the house was wonderful for our seafood boil! Would stay again!

Beach Getaway

The house was well stocked, maintained, and very close to the beach. Beach views were great from the very nice deck. Private beach and quiet. Dolphins were swimming close to shore during our end of March stay.

Spring break with Family dog

We chose this location because they allow medium size dogs. We have s Golden Retriever. The location was great 3 houses down from ocean access. We could see the ocean and part of the bay from the porches. The porch has a great area for laying out and a gate so your pet can sit outside with you. It has a nice area below with sitting area and a porch swing. Great shower on lower area to get all that sand off. They provided beach chairs and boards for your convenience. The kitchen is well setup and has a separate ice machine. Love the decorative design of the house.

Memories are made in Flip Flops at Be as You Are Beach House!

Yes memories are made in Flip Flops and booking the Be as Your Are Beach House made those memories more meaningful. The interior was absolutely beautiful and it was so well equipped for all our cooking needs - loved the pots and pans they were top notch. The added ice maker was put to good use and was a nice addition .The upstairs deck, the swing and chairs and picnic table on the lower level made for lots of fun and laughter. The enclosed outside shower was an extra bonus with the kiddos. The view from the house was wonderful we could see the gulf from the front and the bay from the back. We were a party of seven, three generations and our beloved pup and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was just a hop to the beach which was awesome so if we need or forgot anything we did not have to pack up to go back to the house to retrieve it. We loved the fact that there was several great restaurants with in minutes for our seafood fix, we did dine in and take out. The communication was great and instructions clear. We definitely recommend Be as You Are Beach House for you, your family and furry family member - book it -remember Memories are made in Flip Flops at Be as You Are Beach House!

Relaxation Needed

Nice home. Had everything needed. Very clean.There were only 2 of us so we had plenty of space, but may be a little tight for a larger family. We loved lying in the sun on the deck. We could see and hear the ocean and being up high, there was a nice breeze. Loved not dragging chairs and all to the beach every day, but it was so close I walked on the beach every morning. Hope to visit again next year.

Amazing!

We absolutely loved this house & the location! I love the chill neighborhood vibe. We didnā€™t have to worry about crossing a busy street. I walked my dog down the road everyday. The beach access is a couple houses down which was great, not far at all. We needed a pet friendly place and you donā€™t always get a nice or clean place but we were very pleased with how clean it was! We loved the deck! Part is shaded and part is in the sun which is the best of both worlds! My dog probably loved it the most because it had a gate so he could just stay outside all day basically. The underneath part is just as nice as the deck, I loved the swing! Overall, just a great experience! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic location for beach relaxing

This was a great fit for our family. We were close enough to the beach that our teens/young adults could easily head there on their own while we parents hung out on the deck reading or relaxing. We loved the deck! We appreciated being able to have our dog with us and, again, being close enough to the beach to leave her behind in her crate and easily check on her as needed without all of us having to pack up and leave the beach. We had a fun and relaxing time!

Clean & Comfy! From the furnishings inside to the deck chairs and porch swing, everything was comfortable and clean! Extra blankets were cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Ice maker was a bonus we loved! Overall, a great stay! Resin porch was nice (could walk wothout shoes and splinters). There were lights in the stairs so you could see going up at dark. Just a great home that made for a great stay!

Mostly good. Only 2 issues that were unresolved during the stay. The key pad lock quit working on our 2nd day and the internet service was down the entire time. Other than that it was ok.

Had a great time at Be As You Are. Convenient to the beach.

Perfect place for our family. Quiet and not overly populated for March. The kitchen was well equipped but could use a cutting board and large skillet.. And seriously, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom?
