One Q-ute Cottage : Beach and Bay Retreat w/ Pool

Once you step into the beach cottage, you truly feel a sense of excitement as your vacation is kicking off and you have a beautiful place to stay that feels like home. It is a perfect place to step away from the busy life and slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of beach life.

The beach cottage truly feels as if you are getting the best of everything the beach can offer - you have the beautiful beach on one side and Little Lagoon on the other, and if those bodies of water are not enough, you are steps away from the relaxing pool overlooking the Lagoon. With the cottage being on a low density beach, it is nice to be able to get out and set up on the beach and not feel overcrowded. The beach is a quick 3 minute walk from the unit and is directly across from our community’s entrance. You can be out the front door and toes in the sand before you could in a big condominium building. If you have little ones, you will feel very safe and comforted crossing the road as it is a quiet 2 lane street. Once on the beach, you may catch a glimpse of the Gulf’s marine life as we have seen crabs, stingrays, and dolphins out in the ocean.

If you need a break from the beach, the pool is just steps away. It has a shower if you need to rinse off, or the house has an outdoor shower in the parking area space by the storage closet. The pool has chairs that you can lay out on, and feel free to bring a speaker to enjoy some beach tunes by the pool. The dock entry is right behind the pool and has steps down into the water if you want to take some tubes out there and float (I would suggest having water shoes and be mindful you are sharing the space with marine life).

Upon booking, I will send you a welcome message and then as your vacation date gets closer, I will reach out again with details regarding entry (such as your private secure smart lock code for self check in) and other details pertinent to your stay. My family loves to eat at the beach, so we also have many recommendations that we can provide so you can try some of our favorites. If you need any information on activities or rentals (kayaks or paddle boards can be delivered directly to the cottage!) please feel free to reach out. Our cleaning staff takes enhanced cleaning measures between each stay to protect our guests.

The main floor is on the second story with an over-sized central island, spacious living room and dining room, bunk bed sleeping for two (big enough for adults), and a full bathroom. There is a large smart TV in the living room with cable, but feel free to log into your streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+). There is also a TV in each bedroom. Two large sets of sliding doors fill the living and dining room with light and views of the Little Lagoon and community pool. A balcony spans the whole front of the cottage and allows amazing views of the bay. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with access to a balcony and their own bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed in it. The primary suite has a King bed. The laundry room with a full size washer and dryer is on this floor as well in the hallway. There is an outdoor storage closet which has 4 beach chairs, and umbrella and some beach toys.

Guest access
You will have full access to the entire cottage. There is free wifi and cable. There are multiple smart tvs in the cottage that you can log into your subscriptions such as Netflix and Hulu.

Other things to note
We supply a starter pack of essentials - enough to get you started until you can make it to the store. This usually includes: a roll of toilet paper, soap, small shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent and dryer sheet for a load of laundry. We have complimentary WIFI and TVs in both bedrooms.

There is a storage closet in the parking area which has a few beach chairs, toys, and umbrella for guests to use.

There is an outdoor shower in the parking area for guests to rinse off and clean beach accessories. There is also an outdoor table and 4 chairs in the parking area which can be used for outdoor dining.
