Very disappointed

The management company was not very accommodating at all. I reached out that morning cause we had a sick child and was hoping they would work with us in an early check in.. they would not at all.. they said they would call as soon as we could get in, at 4 they were suppose to call with details.. never got a call..I had to call them, from there it got worse, took 45 minutes to get in. Finally got in and the condo had not been swept.. table had paper towel under all the legs holding up evenly, dishwasher still had dirty dishes, the sliding glass door was taped and you could barely open it.. picture below, it was a mess.. very outdated from what you pay for it, you could tell no one lived there or had owners, bare minimums.. not even a blow dryer. I have rented off Vrbo but I would never rent from this management company again! Very disappointed!!!

The view from this unit is amazing! Everything was great! The only real complaint is the bed & pillows could be upgraded.

Condo needs updated

The area was exactly as described, condo its self needs a lot of updates. Sofa and chairs were really stained and the refrigerator racks were rusted and dirty. I always rent from Vrbo and have never been disappointed but this time it was a let down. Overall it was an okay stay.

We just wished our condo was cleaned before we arrived at 4 for check in. Had to wait around till they sent a cleaning crew.

Great location, great view

Location was excellent. Walking distance to The Hangout and shopping. The view from the balcony was awesome. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but not too bad. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location on the beach

Beach very accessible. They view was amazing. Roomy and comfortable but, wish the furniture was updated. Centrally located for food, shopping and activities.

Family Beach Trip

Location is great - walking distance to The Hangout and the “main strip” right by public access beach and parking. We were only allowed ONE parking spot so we had to park our other family members car in a free public parking a few blocks away - we called to ask for an additional spot and I think there was some misunderstanding- because we didn’t get the spot. It’s fine, just annoying. Our unit was just like the video posted. I will say, they have the glass tables for eating, but also as a coffee table so as a mother with a 1yr old - I was nervous of the glass tables. Also - the washing machine didn’t work properly - I messaged the management, they said they would send maintenance…they never came by. All in all - we would stay again though.

Dated, but GREAT place. Enjoyed it!

You cannot beat the area. Period! You have to oay extra for parking, but then you may walk to stuff nearby. Pros: CLEAN! I checked the ceiling fans & vents for dirt or dust! Excellent when it comes to cleanliness. Location! You cannot get any better. New microwave and dishwasher. Stove & oven are perfectly acceptable. Fridge is older & the shelf in the freezer looks rusted, but all worked just fine. Air-conditioning worked great. Cons: Washing machine needs to be replaced. Yes, it washes, but it is so loud you cannot hear the television over the washing machine. When the washing cycle is done, the clothes are still dripping wet, but the dryer works very well. So if you put your wet clothes into the dryer, and set it on the longest timer, your clothes will dry. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a very slow draining tub and sink. Water will stand around your feet while you shower & water will sit in the sink. They do have satellite, but there is no streaming service provided. There is no place to hook up your own streaming device if you bring one to watch netflix, Amazon prime, hbo, etc. So you are stuck with satellite. The television in the master bedroom has a big scratch in it. It did not disturb my viewing, but it might be a distraction for others. There are slashes in a lamp shade in the master bedroom.

Amenities are horrible but location is incredible!

The unit immediately upon entry was very musty smelling. The textured ceiling in the kitchen was falling down with a huge piece on the floor upon entry. The door to the laundry room was unattached. The washer was EXTREMELY loud, leaked on the floor and didn't spin dry the clothes properly. Dishes were dirty. Main bathroom tub did not drain and was left with several inches of water after one shower. Pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable and we considered buying a blow up mattress for the floor. We didn't have any blankets but after notifying management they immediately brought us brand new ones. Master bedroom mattress is needing to be replaced. BUT the view was incredible and the porch was ideal. Location is ideal to beach and night life. If problems could be fixed it would be a wonderful place. We called before booking after reading reviews & were told all issues were resolved from previous reviews but clearly not. We will not be renting from here again.

Iowa comes for spring break

The location was perfect. This isn't red carpet movie star hosting place. But, the location is top. It was perfect balance for my family with 2 teenagers. I would and am planning on a return trip!

Great location for beach activities.

Right on the beach with a great view of the water. The unit is easily within walking distance of novelty shops and great food.

Perfect location.

Perfect location. The room was clean but could use some fixing up for example the ceiling in the condo needs to be fixed and the kitchen needs a new vent hood. Overall we had a good time.

No front desk, 4 towels for a week stay of 5 people, dirty kitchen appliances, had to buy our own trash bags, dish soap, and pretty much everything else. They provide a few random things.

Good location - Dated property

The location was good and the balcony view was very nice. The property is very dated - including the bedding. The kitchen accessories are very hodgepodge.

Only one vehicle allowed!

Condo was clean but very outdated. Kitchen needs pots and pans. Island Winds West will sell you 2 parking passes but not Island Winds East! So if you rent a condo that sleeps 6-8 people you better be able to ride in one vehicle.
