Gulf Front 7 bedroom BEACH FRONT with POOL! Newly decorated!

Recently updated! Grand Sand is one of the BEST properties on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Incredibly decorated with soaring high ceilings, 7 bedrooms (6 private bedrooms, plus bunk/daybed loft, plus upstairs den with sofa bed) and 6 bathrooms, right on the Gulf with private pool! NOT a duplex, this incredible property is ALL YOURS! The location could not be more perfect. It is less than 2 miles from Hwy 59--shops, restaurants, shopping, The Hangout--the heart of Gulf Shores! Yet just far enough away from condos and Hwy 59 for privacy during your beach retreat. Waves store, "Beach House" restaurant, Boudreaux Seafood, Janino's Pizza, and Island Ice Cream are within walking distance of this fabulous property. This home will be one you enjoy year after year. It's hard to leave Grand Sand! This home is perfect for multiple families traveling together due to our three separate areas.
We have three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the first floor, and two bedrooms plus loft den area with sleeper sofa in upstairs street side with two bathrooms, and queen bedroom and bathroom with bunk/daybed loft in beachside upstairs. Bed/bath layout is follows:
Queen down beach view with private bath, tub/shower
Two queens down with hall bath, tub/shower
King down with private bath, custom tiled shower
King up with private bath, tub/shower
Two queens up -shares hall bath, tub/shower
Den loft up with sofa bed -shares hall bath, tub/shower
Bunk beds and daybed up in beach view loft
Queen bed beach view with private bath, tub/shower (off bunk/daybed loft).
We do have front and back security cameras that monitor the entrances and can be reviewed for security issues. We have smart TVs in each bedroom and living area with Roku channels.
Come for the Fall, it's a GREAT time to be at the beach...incredible weather, fewer crowds, and fantastic rates!! Recently renovated!! Minimum age to book is 24.
100% refund if cancelled before 60 days of stay, less Cancellation fee of $200.

The advertised details of the house were not accurate and quite misleading. Cleanliness: When we arrived we found a dirty diaper laying on the outside deck and a lots of dirty cups at the pool area. The blinds in the laundry room were not able to be closed which for a house of ladies and a house of men next door, this was a problem. Even after multiple attempts the washing machine also did not work. Also, you could not open and close any of the blinds throughout the house without getting dirty. They obviously had not been cleaned in a very long time. The sheets for the loft / landing area on the left didn't appear to have been washed prior to our arrival. They had a smell and looked as if they were just tossed into the nearby closet. Bedrooms: Although, two of the advertised bedrooms were actually a loft area that overlooked the living area and did not provide any privacy and should not have described as bedrooms. We were not able to use the television in the ground level bedroom on the left. The pool was clean but the liner needs work. it was coming loose around the edges and the ladder was wobbly making several ladies feel unsafe. We make a beach trip every year and have been pleased with every place we have stayed with VRBO until now. This one is an exception in the negative. A consideration for reimbursement for the cleanliness inside and out, non working television and washing machine should be considered.

I havent nothing bad to say! We absolutely loved the property and everything about it. The 1 thing that you cant tell by the pics is the "loft area" is split. This wasnt a problem just changed how were going to sleep a little. 1 Queen bedroom and bunks/trundle are on one side and 2 additional bed rooms and fold out sofa are on the other. The space worked perfectly for our "Framily". We loved the decks, 2 fridges and location. The matresses were good and all the extras avaliable were a huge plus. Book it, you wonr regret it.

The hosts were very kind and responsive which we truly appreciated. The beach is beautiful and definitely less crowded than public areas. The house was a great size for our family of 12. It has potential to be 5 stars but needs a refresh. Walls, rugs and cabinets are very dirty and worn. We have stayed in many airbnb/vrbo properties and this property was not as nice as we expected for the price, but it definitely could be 5 stars with some upkeep. We felt the deck was unsafe with multiple areas with nails lifted. We even covered some with electrical tape to avoid injury on our little ones feet. We had to provide the following: beach towels, hand soap, bath soap, dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper. The most minimal amount of supplies we have ever had provided at a rental property. Also, the master closet needs to be addressed. It smelled so strongly like vomit when we arrived we were concerned we would all get sick. We cleaned it ourselves but the smell never fully went away. We know with some tlc this house can be amazing.

Great home

The pictures of the house were accurate. The owners quickly responded to any questions that we had. The house was clean. The beach was not crowded. We could walk out the door and onto the beach. It was wonderful. There were 13 of us and plenty of room for all. Two refrigerators were great. We had all the dishes we needed. The pool was great for the kids. There were a lot of jellyfish the week we were there so the pool was perfect. Some things were getting a little worn but no complaints just the usually wear. We were close to so many restaurants and shopping. Great location and great house. We had an amazing time.

Beautiful Beach Stay

The beach was beautiful. The house was nicely decorated. And we had a great time. Communication with managers (there seem to be two different ones) before our stay was difficult, and the house needed a little attention. Our bedroom had light bulbs missing. A cookie sheet was very unclean. There were no bath mats in any bathrooms. Two trash bags for a group of 14 for 3 nights?

Beautiful home!

Had a wonderful stay! Beautiful view as well. Very clean all the way around, comfortable beds, got all checked in and the blender didn’t work and I called the host and we had a new blender in less than 2 hours. We also got married on Thursday 10/24/24 at the property and it was amazing!!!!!! I would rate this property 10/10! It was fabulous!!!! Would definitely stay again.

Turning 80 and 21

Grand Sand Beach House could not have been better for our family of 16! The public spaces were exactly what we needed to celebrate two birthdays and there were great “pod” spaces for sleeping and privacy. The bathrooms were great and well placed! Thank you for an unforgettable celebration vacation!

Great house and stay!

We just finished a week at Grand Sands and had a great time! We had an infant, nieces, nephews, teens, parents and grandparents and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was well equipped, everyone had plenty of space, and the location and beach were excellent. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful before and during the trip. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Great Family Vacay

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Sand! The house fit our needs and it was the perfect location on the beach. Our family truly enjoyed this beautiful spot. The back porch swing was the our favorite spot to relax in the evenings and look at the ocean view. We will be back in the future.

Family Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed the trip! Easy access to the beach. Plenty of refrigerator space for a large group. We did not realize we were booking our stay while the Hangout Music Fest was taking place. Almost felt like we were down there for spring break. Will certainly stay again in the future!
