Recovery Room EAST is a luxury rental with six bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. A large great room/family room, dining room and kitchen along with a king bedroom, private bath and half bath are located on the main level. Glass doors connect the living room to a covered deck/outdoor eating area which overlooks the sparkling pool, your private hot tub and the beach. On the second level are two king master bedrooms with decks overlooking the beach, a twin bedroom with two single beds, a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, a queen bedroom and a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed (two twin mattresses). This spacious beach house is the perfect rental for extended family or multi-family vacations and will accommodate 16 guests comfortably. Recovery Room EAST is designed for comfort and convenience. With its fully equipped, completely remodeled kitchen, it will be a breeze to prepare a gourmet meal or a quick snack! Great room overlooks pool which overlooks the beach .Recovery Room EAST also offers six flat screen smart televisions in most bedrooms plus a massive 86" flat screen in the living room. Wireless Internet access as well as a washing machine and clothes dryer for convenience.

This listing, Recovery Room EAST is half of the Recovery Room EAST/West duplex. Each half duplex home has 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Private solar heated pool facing the beach is shared between the two duplex homes. Each side has its own private hot tub. Fort Morgan Peninsula provides a wonderful location for quiet time. The home is on the sugar white sands of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and minutes from Gulf Shores and its many popular attractions. For larger groups, please inquire about reserving both sides, Recovery Room EAST and Recovery Room West, to accommodate groups up to 32 people.

This was our second time at Recovery Room East and it's become our group's favorite home for our annual trip to Ft Morgan beach. The set up is ideal for a large group and the commercial fridge is a game changer for keeping us fed! See ya next July Recovery Room East!

This was our third stay at this property. It’s starting to show some wear. The deck outside is in bad shape . We had to nail down some that were trip points for the kids. You can see the general wear and tear beginning to happen inside.

Absolute perfection

Overall, our stay was perfect! Beds were comfy and the space was ample for our group. The huge fridge was great and the ice maker saved us a lot of money. Plenty of bathroom space. The deck space, pool and hot tub were great. Being just steps from the beach was the best! We come to Fort Morgan for the beach! No lugging your stuff back and forth! This home was hard to leave. We had a couple of minor issues but nothing that ruined our week! Mr Hatton was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a little early and always responded quickly! My daughter got married on the beach and we couldn’t have asked for a better place! Such great memories were made!

Great beachfront property for a family vacation

We've always vacationed on 30A or the Destin area, but wanted to escape the crowds this summer. A family member suggested Fort Morgan, which led me to find this property while searching for Orange Beach rentals. The house was a great fit for our multigenerational family with grandkids from 4 up to grandparents. There were a lot of thoughtful components that made it perfect for large groups, like the layout on the top floor, the massive commercials refrigerator with a separate freezer, wine fridge and ice maker; the ample dish ware, glasses and cooking utensils that meant we didn't have to run a load of laundry after every single meal. It was very intentional for accommodating large groups, and the direct beach access can’t be beat. We set up our beach tents on the first day of the trip and collapsed them at the end of every day without having to drag them back to the house, which was a very nice tough. The house is a "duplex," meaning it is shared with another group—worth noting because if you have an even larger group, you can rent both sides and accommodate even more people—and we had a similar multigenerational family staying next to us for the week who had kids the same ages as ours, and they all loved to play in the pool together. All of the interior space is your own, but the back patio, pool, parking and beach access are shared, which makes this an ideal fit for even bigger families looking for a home(s) to accommodate 20-30 people. 10/10 would go back here again.

Fun Family Home

My family and I had a great time. Plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The huge fridge made it easy to store food for the week and the stand alone ice maker is an excellent addition. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the large TV for movie night. It was a fun week!

Thanksgiving Week 2.0

What a great adventure, or should I say repeat adventure!! This was our 2nd Thanksgiving week stay at this property. As always great accommodations, great beach, great family enjoyment. Can't recommend this property and owner enough.

Not as advertised

This property showed great potential until we got there and found the linens in poor conditions, not cleaned and things needing repairs. After my family and I cleaned it up, we managed to have a good time. Wasn't what I expected but the beach made up what the house lacked in.

Family Getaway

The property owner is amazing. There was an issue after an overnight storm, and he had a handyman there at 7:45 am to fix the problems. Very impressive--- Thankful we had a pool and shaded deck----very nice accomodations for our family of 11.

The location is great for a quiet, relaxing beach trip. Outdoor patio was large enough for our group of 15 to hangout. The listing (I thought) said 7 bedrooms/5 bathrooms but it’s 4.5 baths so one of the upstairs rooms has to go into someone’s room at night or early morning to use the restroom or go downstairs to the 1/2 bath. Other than that, the owner was helpful with everything and quick to respond. We would definitely come back but with a smaller group.

Great Beach House

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The amenities were awesome and it was great to have our own private access to the beach. House was great. A few things to consider: 1) The wifi was scanty. It worked some but didn't work great. 2) The deck furniture is wooden and needs to be replaced with more comfortable chairs. 3) The listing needs to make clear that the upstairs master bedroom/private bath is the REAL master suite of the house (view of ocean, bigger bathroom w/ double sinks and much nicer bedding). I planned the trip and coordinated all the monies and I chose the downstairs master bedroom/private bath and that bathroom was so small you could barely get the door closed. It was right off the kitchen and not an ideal master bedroom to choose. Also, the house pictures show the bedroom w/ the two bunk beds to be larger. It is a tiny room w/ two bunk beds...barely enough room to walk through. Overall we had a great experience! I would return to this beach house!

Great property

House was absolutely beautiful and well equipped with everything needed. Beautiful ocean view and an incredible pool. Check in process was super easy and property manager was very attentive. My only suggestion would be to follow up closely with your cleaning service. Certainly was not a huge deal but with a cleaning fee of almost $500 I would have expected more. Would most assuredly plan for a return trip.

Great location

Property is located on western end of Fort Morgan making it ideal for families looking for a private beach away from the crowds of nearby Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. House itself had plenty of space and amenities. Only concerns were that both the kids in our group and those of the adjoining unit got several pretty big splinters from the decks. The overall cleanliness upon arrival was not up to expectations upon arrival but Ken worked to make it right.

Beautiful week making memories

This is a beautiful property and perfect for large groups. The setting right on the ocean with the pool was just beautiful. It is in a very quiet neighborhood of Fort Morgan. The house was well maintained, clean and updated. The owner is very attentive and a great communicator. I recommend this to anyone and will return in the future!

Beach Ahoy!!

We couldn't ask for a better location on the beach or accommodations. The quarters had recently been renovated and updated. The common area easily accommodated all the guest. The kitchen was equipped with more than enough pots, pans, silverware and dishes. The refrigerator is a commercial style side by side with enough storage space for 2 weeks of rations. As a result, Ft Morgan is our new destination in south Alabama for Thanksgiving week. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Little Piece of Paradise

We had stayed at Recovery Room East in 2020 and could not wait to return this year! We were delighted to find that it had been completely remodeled and updated with new furniture and a new kitchen! Ten glorious days on the beach and we never left our little piece of paradise the entire time. Ken, the owner/Property manager, was prompt to address any question or situation that we had. The private swimming pool and hot tub are everything! We love Fort Morgan and the Recovery Room East😍

This is the first house that we've rented in 10 years that sleeps a lot of people that actually has enough seating in the living room for the majority of our group. The dining room table sat all of our group (8 adults 6 children). AND the refrigerator- commercial sized! What a bonus! The beds were all comfortable. All of the curtains were thick, light-blocking ones that kept the rooms dark in the morning. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The deck going to the pool area does need a gate to keep the little kids from going to the pool unsupervised. We brought 3 gates to block the stairways in the house and outside to keep the little ones safe. The pool and hot tub were a big hit, even though we were 30 seconds from the beach. We would absolutely, definitely stay here again.
