Beach shack style accommodation for the budget conscious. This clean and tidy beach shack would suit a couple of families and it's pet friendly, so you can even bring a small dog (outside only) with an enclosed back yard.

Ceiling fans only NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Pet friendly - outside only. Pet bond applicable $250.

This property strictly sleeps 10 as per booking terms and conditions.

Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangement has been made.

Beach shack

Overall we were okay with our stay. We didn't expect more than a pretty standard beach shack. The property and furniture was quite dated and the cleanliness of inside the shack was pretty average, but our intentions were just to sleep and have breakfast there, being out most of our holiday. Good for a budget conscious holiday.

Budget or busted ?

Clean but old. But that's Moore River. Blinds broken, doors off hinges, lights blown. Archaic furniture too. You expect things to work when you pay for accommodation, and as we had a pet, and always accessing the back yard, it didn't help the sliding doors were in desperate need of new rollers. Thank goodness the inlet didn't let us down - thank goodness for nature!

Great budget stay.

Property was good. Lots of room. Furniture was a little dated but clean and comfortable beds . Budget accommodation that was reasonable. Suited our requirement. Lots of teenagers and a dog. Family fishing and beach trip. Donā€™t expect the ritz though and only one bathroom was difficult with a big family at times. Kitchen was clean and well equiped. Lots of room for two cars maybe more. No problems with bbq.

House was fine but communication was a major issue

In order to enter the house you need a code. Despite numerous phone calls, text messages and voice messages, I could not get through to the person managing the house and she would not return my calls. We ended up driving to the house without the code and had to call someone from a different area to help us get in. Absolutely terrible service and this could have easily ruined our entire holiday.

Great location, has everything you need

We had a great time, think property could be updated, screen in one bedroom needs replacing, window in main bedroom is broken. Couldn't get the tv to work, bbq wasn't working, but was promptly fixed. Property manager was quick to respond to texts and get things done.

Great weekend getaway

We stayed in Guilderton for the weekend whilst our daughter, son in law and 4 boys camped. The cottage was lovely, and we hosted a BBQ for the family.

Disappointed

I am very disappointed no one bothered to return my calls prior to check in. No instructions on how to work the television. Cold water tap in the Bathroom handbasin is in Urgent need of repairs as it is almost running not just dripping. All floors were very sandy and not pleasant to walk on with bare feet.

Cost effective.

Great spot for what we needed. Just some extra tea towels and maybe bath mats would be great. Also check bbq lighter and all would be spot on. Oh and knives need a sharpen. šŸ˜Š

Cheap and cheerful

We had a lovely stay in Guilderton. Only a short walk in to town. The accommodation was cheap and cheerful. Fully functional kitchen, bedrooms, lounge and bathroom. Had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway with friends and family.

Fair pricing for the property, it had pretty much everything you needed! Quiet and relaxing as the other properties near us had no tenants!
