Welcome to our charming gîte in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, Normandy
Easily accessible from the main highways, you’ll enjoy being close to Deauville (40 minutes by car), Lisieux (25 minutes), many lovely small towns nearby (Livarot, Camembert...) and the D-Day Landing beaches.

Nestled in the Norman countryside, our gîte "Les Pâtis" offers an authentic and peaceful setting for family getaways, romantic weekends, holidays with friends, or seminars.

MINIMUM RENTAL: 1 NIGHT

The gîte "Les Chesnes" is a charming traditional Norman house with 2 bright bedrooms overlooking our small river.

The house includes:
On the ground floor:
A spacious living room with a dining area
A wood-burning stove to keep you warm on cooler evenings
A fully equipped kitchen with: refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster.
The cupboards contain all the essentials for preparing and enjoying your meals.
A "L’Or" coffee machine is also at your disposal.
Upstairs:
1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity unit
1 bedroom with two single beds, also with its own bathroom (shower, toilet, and vanity unit)
A TV with access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Channel, and both French and English channels
Free Wi-Fi
Outdoors:
A private terrace with a view over the small river and a charcoal barbecue.
Parking is easy and available inside the property, close to your gîte.

🔒 Security Deposit
A deposit of €750 is required for your stay. It can be paid either:
Via a secure link (bank imprint, not charged)
By check on the day of arrival
👉 Important: The secure link only captures a pre-authorization. No amount is charged unless damage is found. The deposit is automatically released within 7 days of departure.

Towel kit: €10 / person (includes 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 bath mat per bathroom/apartment)

🐾 Pets Welcome
Pets are allowed (max 2 per gîte), under the following conditions:
Less than 15 kg: €15 / pet / stay
More than 15 kg: €35 / pet / stay
Payment on-site in cash or by credit card.
Please inform us when booking if you are bringing pets.
Rules:
Must be kept on a leash outdoors
Waste must be picked up
Please sweep up hair before departure
Be considerate of other guests who may not be comfortable around animals

🏊‍♀️ Pool & Jacuzzi
Outdoor Pool: Open from mid-April to end of September (weather permitting). Closed from end of September to mid-April.
Outdoor Jacuzzi: Open year-round.
Pool hours:
High season: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Low season: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

🚫 Night access prohibited for safety reasons.

👶 Children must always be supervised by an adult. Swimming is under the full responsibility of parents/guardians.

🛻 Guided Quad Tours
From early May to late October, enjoy a nature ride on a quad guided by an instructor.
Duration: 2 hours
Price: €120 per quad (1 or 2 people)
Driving license (B) required
Gear provided: helmet, disposable liner, gloves
The ride takes you through forest paths, river crossings, and offers just the right dose of adventure in a safe and friendly setting.

Tourist Tax
A tourist tax has been introduced in the territory of the Community of Communes since January 1st, 2024.
Collected based on the actual number of overnight stays, it is paid by travelers staying in commercial accommodations within the area.
All proceeds from this tax are fully dedicated to improving the quality of visitor services and tourist infrastructure in the region, as well as to promoting and developing local tourism to enhance its attractiveness.
