"Wonderful stay for Thanksgiving celebration. Our favorite part was the sunroom off the kitchen where we could watch wildlife on the river. We saw egrets, otters, cormorants, and much more! It's an ideal location for staying in Guerneville - it's close to downtown, next to the river, and plenty of good places to go for an walk. "Our family has stayed at Valley Lane before and the host David is always a pleasure to work with. So friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it rained a few days out of the week we were there but we still had a great time: cooking, playing board, poo, shuffle board, board games and just spemding time together. "Awesome tiny home set-up. My wife and I really like the functional layout and the comfort level, as well as the additional amenities with the fire pit and hot tub. Check in was super easy and as was communications with the host. No major issues. Although the location is next to the highway, it's also inside a pocket at the edge of the forest and that makes it feel secluded/private, in a good way. We'd definitely like to return someday. "

"What a beautiful cottage. The view is from the yard, and looking through the windows of the back of the house, as well as on the deck are amazing. The kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are really comfortable. Others have commented about the slanted ceiling in the bathroom. Unless one is spending an extended amount of time in front of the mirror, the bathroom was just fine. A really nice shower and updated fixtures. We loved our stay!"
