A stay in January 2024
Location was good. Short drive to Playa Santa a public beach, and a low cost $2.00 beach Playa Jungla. Both were very nice with the latter being much cleaner. Food and drink were within a 1 minute drive. Some area of improvement are the following: newer pots and pans, the blinds were not functional, no hot running water at the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, shower water was tepid, sink faucet was not tightened in place and sink was very stained, toaster did not stay down it had to be held, some dishes were chipped or cracked or stained. The bathroom did appear upgraded. The bed was very comfortable, and the air provided for a great sleep. A place to store or hang clothes would have been very helpful. The weather and temperature were perfect, and the humidity was nonexistent. Parking was easy and close to our front door. We enjoyed hearing the ocean from the patio.

Good location!!!!
The location, check in/out and air conditioning in the bedroom were good!! But the apartment, equipment (beach chair/cooler/paddle board/furniture) and the photos on the website needs updating as the bridge is no longer there.

The pier has been approved for construction after it was taken down by the last hurricanes. we are pending the start of the construction,

False Information Pictures
The Dock picture are out of date, there is no functional dock, water was murky. The main reason to select this place was the dock pictures, sofa bed was dirty so my son has to use the sofa to sleep. We left a day earlier to another location

The dock was destroyed in the last hurricane. we just got permits approved to rebuild. All updates have been on the page plus in the email we send our guest prior to the arrival. sometimes the water depending on the season or weather it might be cloudy, also the sofa its a sofa bed you just had to open it to reveal the bed inside.

It was super close to nice beaches. Host answer pretty quickly for any questions or concerns,I I just didn’t like the smell of rotten eggs, in the air, but that is out of the Host control.

Oceanside oasis
The condo was very nice! It was clean and well appointed. They had everything you needed to enjoy the ocean, right down to sunscreen! The view was amazing! We echoed it very much. Also, we felt perfectly safe as ladies traveling alone. The property is gated, so that was very nice. I would love to stay again one day.

Great place!
We had a great time, despite very windy conditions during our stay. We were unable to snorkel. Walking distance to the beach (very busy). Super friendly neighborhood. Clean & safe surroundings.The slope to put the kayak & paddleboard in was too steep & rocky for us girls. Avoid the rope & bouys at La Playa, has stinging seaweed that is very painful. Otherwise, the water was amazing for swimming. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfy stay.( ps: not sure if we missed it in the details but you walk in the small gate, open the apartment, where you will find the remote for the main gate to drive in) Beautiful view from the patio where we enjoyed our meals at the large table & also lounging on the hammock. Looking forward to stay here again!!

Fantastic location — really two steps from the ocean and the dock was great. I fly regularly to the area and I wish I had known about this place before. The owner was very responsive to our needs and questions.

Great view from the dock!
Besides the issue with the main gate's beeper and the cleanliness of the place when we arrived, the place was pleasantly relaxing. Plus the location and amenities included in the apt was the best part of our stay.

Our apologies. We had electrical problems and could not be prepared on time. Now we have a new clicker to access the property for our guests.

Great place, close to everything
We greatly enjoyed our two nights here. The pier is only a few feet away, and we were able to swim and snorkel right there. There are many dining options a short walk away. The unit has a king-sized bed in a bedroom with a very cold AC that we ran at night. Our kids slept on a futon in the living room. Large refrigerator, stove, and microwave for cooking, although we ended up dining out for our meals. Very clean. We would definitely stay here again. Great communication from the host.

Amazing stay in Guanica!!!
This has to be one of our favorite accommodations our trip to Puerto Rico! Smooth and easy check in and the property is clean and just as listed. We love the king size bed!!! And the beach right by the property is a huge plus. We recommend watching the sunset by that beach, it was beautiful! It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Also Edgardo is a great host and answered all our questions and gave really clear instructions on how to find the property.

Person stays at property then charges the money back so you don't get paid and they stay for free. 2nd time trying to collect my money from this guest.

Great place for beach days
Great little apartment, I'd recommend it for a couple, solo or a family with one young child. Place was clean, furnished and very close to Playa Santa. This area can get very busy during major holidays but be aware that there's not much nightlife close by other than a couple of simple bars within walking distance.

A billion roosters
The pictures although truthful give the impression of one property with a private peer, that is not the case and if full the peer is not large enough to support, there is also a million roosters that will wake you up at 4 AM, the beach is awesome ! as is the town. Also discrepancy with VRBO and local checkout rules and the GPS address provided by VRBO does not work.

After every booking confirmation an email is sent to all guests with a google pin and with written directions and instructions to our place. Always Check in is at 3 and check out is at 11. Also If no other guests and with a prior request, we can make arrangements for an earlier check in and a later check out. It’s a small apartment complex that has a nice pier and access to water/ beach and to water toys at a very reasonable price less than 60 seconds to water . and yes the beach is awesome.

Memorable Times with Family
Edgardo was reachable and friendly host. Suggest for Edgardo to better-clearly explain property location as to relationship with main building owners; ie....do and don’t In general the site is confortable to fit 3 persons, closeness to the beach and privacy is the best attraction. Was able to spend a quality n memorable time with wife and son, particularly my son who lives in the US. Have already recommended to friends.

Private paradise
Everything was perfect. The dock outback was a trio saver when PR was on lockdown for COVID-19. Property owner was very helpful and accommodating. The neighbors were wonderful!! Property is local to so many fun things to do, yet, “off the beaten path” of hustle and bustle tourists’ attractions.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!
This place is absolutely amazing! It's exactly as the pictures display. Edgardo was absolutely amazing, he homed us in as we got lost getting there and it was a breeze. He's very attentive and easy to get a hold of. Great location, great vibes, great place, Great Manager!! 100% recommend. This is Puerto Rico!!!

Not ocean front, not private. Located in an area with allot of earthquake damage.
The property was easy to find from the owners notes. The beaches and areas we wanted to see were all closed due to the earthquake. Hardly any restaurants other than bars with fried food open in the area. Not any night life. The condo its self was good. King bed was comfortable and the items provided to use out and about was nice. There is 1 total set of snorkeling gear. The other gear is either broken or not working. The condo is connected to others. You cannot see the ocean from this condo. Your outdoor area is by others so not any privacy. The dock is shared with others staying as well so again no privacy. We saw nothing in the water snorkeling. It was rough and not clear water due to the water being rough(end of feb.) We hung out at Playa Santa beach it was fine but in order to do anything we needed to drive min. Of 15min one way for entertainment and resturants as this area is pretty shut down due to earthquake. We found that this location was a bit to far from everything plus not being able to do anything from our dock or wake up to seeing the sunrise nor sunset. There is a hose outlet on the side of the building no actual outside shower. To get to the dock you need to walk about 200feet and then if others were out on their ocean front decks or on the deck you had no privacy.

Thank you for the review. The beaches are now open even with the pandemic at this time. Guilligans island can be accessed by Kayaks. Yes we have some houses in the town Guanica that had some damage. La parguera Lajas is 15 away and has nightlife, Guanica has some but only Sat and Sun. Yes we have fried food everywhere. Love it. We also have fresh fish at most places. Umami is a good restaurant 5 min away. the dock is big and can jump from it and lay on it. there are good views from the dock. Yes there might be people around the area.

This place is paradise. We were lucky to have the complex to ourselves most days and floating off the dock was a magical experience. Sunsets were so wonderful and we enjoyed “boat drinks” as we watched. Fully equipped and so comfortable. Easy walk to playa Santa and a couple of restaurants. Jungle beach was incredible. We took a few day trips to Cabo Rojo and la PARGUERA but couldn’t wait to get back to our cozy home; floating while watch the sunset then firing up the grill for a tasty dinner or walk to the local restaurant. This place is truly special!! Edgardo was always in contact and gave us suggestions. You can see how gracious he is by the offerings in the unit; a hammock, a charcoal grill, even a paddle board and snorkel gear. I will certainly be back!!

Thank you for the excellent review. We have all those items beach coolers , umbrella , beach chairs , snorkeling gear, paddle board etc because when I go to the beach I want to have it all and relax. So I want you guys to have the same experience for a great price.

Loved it.
We stayed 4 nights and I didn't want to leave, despite the earthquakes and no power while we were there. Edgardo was a great host and very responsive. The door to the room with the paddle board and other beach stuff was locked and Edgardo responded quickly to unlock it for us. The bed is very comfortable and it was great to have beach towels and chairs. Loved the paddle board! We spent most of one day snorkeling right off the pier and it was great. Lots of coral, fish and lobsters to see. Walk to restaurants, bars and the public beach. There is no washer as listed. There are several other apartments in the building and everyone was friendly and quiet. I recommend Edgardo's place!

The place was nice. Everything about the unit was accurate .
Liked the property but to get to it was a bit of a journey. Once located it was fine. The description of the property was not very accurate. The pier was nice but a bit of a journey to get to and the access to the beach was as well. No "direct access" to the beach like describe but overall the experience was nice

It was great!
The accommodations were very welcoming and clean. The owner provided access to his snorkeling and paddle gear. We were able to enjoy playa Santa just a few minutes away from the property who also boasted great views. We also ventured to the Pueblo of Guanica and la Parguera. We felt safe and secured.

Nice little place to rest.
the apartment was nice and well supplied. We had a time figuring out if there was hot water for the shower. There was! I was disappointed that the pier was in shambles and unsafe to go on. However, local beaches supplemented well. The neighbors were lovely and overall it was very enjoyable.

Edgardo was super nice allowing us an early check in.
The place is located in a nice remote quiet area walking distance to the beach (5 mins). We enjoyed the location but the place needs a bit of upkeeping. Was a bit disappointed to find the pier shown on the pic not walkable. It looks like Hurricane Maria took a few chunk off of the pier. Dangerous to walk on it. On the other hand, I totally appreciate Edgardo allowing us an early check in. Much appreciated!
