Short walk to playa flamingo, restaurants, & grocery store - as others have mentioned there is a steep hill to be mindful of if anyone in your group has mobility issues. We spent all our time at the beach either swimming/boogie boarding at playa flamingo or surfing at tamarindo (about 30 min drive away). Vendors will rent you a canopy/tent with beach chairs and boogie boards for the day (25-45 for the tent) and you can buy food & drinks from them. Friendly...

"The condo itself was ok, the resort less so. Compared to the prices, you feel you really get less than you pay for. The condo comes with everything you need, but remember to bring your own soap for the dishwasher and for the laundry. It makes it seem a bit cheap, with the prices in mind. The resort offers little besides golf. The Conchal beach and Brasilito beach are great, but the beach club belonging to the resort meets the bare minumum. "Very nice property, the owners have it well furnished throughout with lots of kitchen, laundry items and beach furniture that doesn't typically come included. You don't feel like you are in a rental, you feel like a friend lent you their beach house. Very comfortable stay in a modern, clean facility with an excellent beach view. "
