"My sister and I had a couple of days of much-needed rest and relaxation at the Whale Watch Inn. Everything inside our studio room was beautifully clean and in good repair. Outdoors, the property is not formally landscaped and groomed, which produces a friendly, casual atmosphere. The ocean view is delightful! I would definitely return."

I was a bit concerned with no lockbox access however, upon our 4:30 arrival, we did find the door unlocked. "This was a very pleasant place. It was warm upstairs and cool downstairs, perfect for sleeping. There was artsy things everywhere, even after a few days something nice would surprise me. And the best restaurant for miles was within walking distance. Anchor Bay Thai. And the local convenience stores was nice, prepared food and a good produce section. Both were within a short walk tho it was uphill to get back. "

"My wife and I loved our time in the cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, it had a beautiful view of the Pacific, whether you were looking from the large front window or relaxing on the deck. The cabin was also a wonderful starting point to explore Mendocino County. The folks at the Anchor Bay store were extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend the Hi-Tor cabin. "
