Kayak the river, explore tide pools, or hike the coastal bluffs -- close and convenient to everything. You are 2 minutes' drive to Cooks Beach to the North and 5 minutes drive South to Gualala Regional Park. Nature is all around this peaceful property - turkeys, deer, gray squirrels, foxes, jack rabbits, acorn woodpeckers, song birds, ravens, ospreys and hawks often find time to visit.



Getting Around:

Gualala is approximately 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1, right on the Mendocino-Sonoma County border. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport at roughly 90 minutes east. A car is recommended -- Highway 1 is one of the world's great coastal drives.



Other Things to Note:

Take a quick car ride to the beach and keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring for wildflower season -- the hills above Gualala and the river trails burst with lupine and California poppies. June through September brings the warmest weather.
