"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"It was rainy and overcast while we were there and the northern lights were not to be. But, my husband and I did enjoy the relaxing on the couch and curling up and watching a movie after spending the days driving around sight seeing. Everything we needed was there except paper towels. It is a drive to get to a store so make sure you have what you need when you arrive. There are several houses around this place, so not secluded. There was only one family there while we were there and we really did...

"Perfectly based location for a few days at snaefellsnes. We really love the accommodation, it has a nice interieur and the contact to Jacob was also fine. He is intested that everything works fine for your stay at his house. Good place to see the northern lights, because its quite remote. Highly recommendation but you have to know that you have to clean at the end of your stay"
