Rhonda & Feryl we’re amazing hosts! Their adorable little lake house, Making Waves, was more than we could’ve hoped for in a home away from home! The two docks were just steps away, very well maintained, and very easy to access! (One is even covered with provided seating and some lighting!) The view from the living room window includes the water! It was lovely!While we were there, we also learned that pelicans migrate through at certain times of year! Pelicans in Oklahoma! Who would’ve guessed?!?! There is a small deck on the house with cozy seating for two. We really enjoyed it! This was an added perk for my Man who is a smoker. No smoking inside, but that was fine by us, because it’s not allowed in our home either. Nearby, there was also a provided BBQ for guest to use.And I can’t forget to mention the delicious, FREE root beer float supplies! Yum! An unexpected sweet treat is always a fun surprise! In case you’re wondering, the internet and Smart TV worked great for our phones and streaming services. They also have cable which made it easy to just flip on the Tv and enjoy! The big overstuffed recliner was super comfortable as was the bed! In fact, we wanted to take that mattress home with us! If your looking for a great place to fish, a romantic getaway, or a trip for your small family, we’d highly recommend Making Waves as your destination! We will definitely be return customers this summer, in the fall to see the pelicans, and hopefully beyond!
