"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. "We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, but our first room had a very strong urine odor. Most likely a pet from a previous stay had urinated on the carpet. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the housekeeping manager came to inspect the room but said she could not detect the smell. The hotel did respond by arranging for the carpet to be cleaned and shampooed, so we stayed in the room that night. "This is a small, comfortable hotel, with limited amenities but beautiful views. The hotel faces a charming children’s park which is so fun but also, children in the summer play late into the evening and it can be quite loud. The rooms were warm with no AC or fans to support an unusually hot summer. The breakfast was good with some warm options from the kitchen including eggs, an omelet or pancakes plus the typical breakfast spread of breads, yogurt and cheeses. "We really enjoyed the accommodation. It is located in an easy-to-access and quiet area, very close to Interlaken Ost station. We stayed in a room with a river view, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! The breakfast is simple (nothing excessive), but very good... we did not miss anything. Perhaps one point to consider is accessibility for some people, since depending on the room you may need to go up or down stairs carrying your luggage by hand, as well as the lack of a TV in the room....

"The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was very comfortable. Nice hot shower too. The location is right next to the gondola station that you must take to get the town of Murren. We rode the gondolas to the top of Schilthorn Piz Gloria and visited the James Bond restaurant and got to do the Thrill Walk. In the evening we shopped at the local Coop and got food so we could sit on our balcony and eat while we enjoyed the views. 10/10 would stay again!!"
