"My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival."

"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. "Absolutely loved Grace! She greeted us upon arrival and was available the entire weekend for our stay. The small staff was exceptional! All very friendly. Accommodations were modern and clean, bed was comfortable. While it wasn’t a bothere to us. Be warned they have live music on weekends so it will be noisy from 9-11p.m. We would stay here again if we were ever to come back to the area."

"Overall a good stay. Room was really spacious and bed was comfortable, although pillows were really bad. I booked room for 3, but everything was for 2, from towels to coffee, but this was not a problem as reception was polite and efficient and they brought towels in no time. We saw a major leak in coming from toilet, so not sustainable not appropriate as the floor became all wet."

"Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"
