When I arrived, it was very late but everything worked out perfectly because all of the instructions they left worked perfectly. So many small touches made it the perfect place for my short stay. The communication with the host was very fast, kind and professional and I would highly recommend this location!

The space was welcoming snd cozy. The directions on where to enter and park were clear. I didn’t get a chance to explore the grounds but would love to return again to do so. There were cinnamon rolls waiting for me, snacks to enjoy and coffee and tea I could prepare. Definitely would return.

The grounds were beautiful. There was a pond and wonderful live oak trees. It was surprising to have to walk through the bathroom to get to the kitchen area and there was not a stove. The property is in wonderful condition, the hosts were very kind and thoughtful.

Everything we had hoped for

This place is beautiful! It was clean and tasteful, quiet and secure. We felt very safe and got the peace and quiet we were looking for as we explored the area.Check-in and arrival were very easy. Nick and Arlana were very open and communicative before our arrival and throughout our stay. They were also very gracious and understanding when our party made a mistake with our reservation, which was very much appreciated.The beds and living areas were comfortable and clean, with high-quality bedding.The dining area has plenty of room. The kitchenette only has a sink, small fridge and microwave, which wasn't a problem for us since there are so many excellent food options everywhere, so we didn't need to use it.The property is gorgeous. The large pond is full of turtles (snappers and sliders), and there are birds everywhere! It's surrounded by woods and at least a couple miles from any major road, so there was no road noise or light pollution - just the sounds of nature and abundant wildlife, and lots and lots of stars.This was an excellent place to use as a quiet base for our business in and around Shreveport and elsewhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful retreat! From the calm walk through the gorgeous property to deep sleep in the comfortable beds, we were completely impressed and highly recommend these hosts!

Peaceful Retreat

This place was everything we imagined it to be. Quiet, yet beautiful to walk around the pond or sit on the back porch. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Nick and Arlana were excellent hosts, providing all the necessities and attentive to our needs; while being unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend this place!
Short trail around to back side of the pond.
They turned on the ceiling fans and sat on their back deck.
The apartment is over the carport, 2 bedrooms, and good sized dining area with microwave.

A little tranquil slice of Heaven

Although we weren't there long, the property and space were perfect. Warm, cozy, and so very peaceful! We most definitely would stay again! Nicks communication and hospitality were spot on. So very grateful that they are willing to share their amazing space!

Circumstances prevented us from actually making the trip. A family illness kept us from traveling to this beautiful apartment. The host is very much quick to answer any questions and worked with us on our situation. We plan to reschedule at some point in the future.

Beautiful Property!!

We enjoyed our short stay here. It is a beautiful property, and the inside was very clean and inviting. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the scenery, but we did enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep after a late concert.

Celebrating Anniversary and Birthday

Easy to find location. Beautiful farm setting in a very peaceful and quiet area. Very clean, lots of natural light, views of the farm and pond. All amenities are top notch and very comfortable. Loved the soft comfy robes and the bed is perfectly firm and soft. Lots of different sizes and firmness levels of pillows on the bed. The setup of each room was just like home. The TV area has great chairs and hassocks, so comfy and easy to watch TV. There are DVDs, a few games and a gift shop all in the TV nook. Along with other items to make your stay even better . Great hot water in the shower and really soft towels. Nice kitchen dining room with lots of light, a Keurig, mini fridge and microwave. We spent three nights and used most of our day time to explore Shreveport. This property is perfect for this kind of time away. Our hosts were very responsive to let us know about lights for the outside after dark, if we needed anything to ask and that the grounds were open for us to explore. I need to mention the homemade cinnamon rolls. Hands down the best we have had. Do warm them and enjoy.
