"We spent a lovely Saturday - Tuesday up in the area with our friends and this was truly such a gem of a spot. We had the full spectrum of weather, so we were able to take full advantage of both the woodstove (wood provided) on a chilly evening, and use the boat launch and beach access on the sunny days!The beds were incredibly comfy, and my partner-who usually has back issues when traveling- had no issues sleeping and had no pain (a win!)The kitchen was fully stocked with all the...

"This cabin along the Kennebec is so beautiful. The setting is just beyond the homeowner’s main house. Views from the cabin include the Kennebec and woodlands behind the home. We were there during a major heatwave in the early summer but the fans kept the air moving and made it so much more bearable. We want to come back during the fall to see the leaves and hike to the local waterfalls."

"Not enough lighting outside. It was extremely dark. You had to get out if your car and basically start to climb the stairs before the sensor lights came on. Lights are needed when you drive up and get out of the car too. I am handicapped and aged. More lighting is needed "
