On request the staff can be consisted of a cook. A welcome basket will wait for you on your arrival with local drinks, fruits and traditional flavours. Feel free to ask the owners everything you need (car rentals, useful tips about excursions and sightseeing). About 600m from the villa is the center of Georgioupolis where there you can find numerous shops, supermarkets, traditional markets, cafes and bars. It has a big playground for our small friends with skate park, bike lane and outdoor gym. The organized beach of Georgioupolis with the gold sand is located 500m from the villa.
Apart from sunbathing is suitable for fishing and various water sports āKournas lakeā which is about 3km from the villa. Itās the largest natural lake in Crete. You can enjoy swim in the lake, a ride of pedalo or a walk around the beautiful landscape. It is surrounded by traditional greek taverns and cafeterias and you can enjoy local flavours or your coffee with the nice view. The traditional āRethymno cityā is about 18km, while the scenic Chania city is about 30km. Souda port is accessible to 28km, āChania airportā is 42km and āHeraklion airportā is 100km.
