Amazing Views and Tranquil Surroundings
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we loved everything about our stay. If you're looking to be "out of the activity" this is your place. The flat is spacious and clean and has more than you need for a comfortable stay. The views are spectacular and the quite surroundings make it so nice to enjoy some peace away from the busyness of Oia and Fira. However, you are close enough to be there in just a few minutes. We had a car and I do suggest having some sort of tranportation as it's way more convenient than using public transportation or taxis. We appreciated the quick responses of our host and personal touches. Great place to stay in Santorini.

Perfect Location
Toninio’s assistance was exceptional. His insight into seeing what Santorini has to offer was invaluable. The home is superb, the view spectacular- wake up to a sublime sunrise every morning. Peaceful, quiet all the amenities necessary to thoroughly enjoy and experience Greece. I was taken such good care of I did not want to leave. Highly recommend. Just Spectacular.

Dream Holiday Spot
What a beautoful place, and a friendly, accommodating host. This is the best beach house you will find. When the sun is out, it fills the beautiful house with dramatic light, without it becoming too hot. The view of the sea is breathtaking, and uninterrupted. The location is a 5 minute drive to Oia and 15 minutes from the airport. The place is immaculately clean, cleaned every two days, and Greek treats are re-stocked in the kitchen with every cleaning. The place is perfect, in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you so much!!

Oasis in Santorini
The property met all our needs, the view of the Aegean Sea was wonderful! They provided adequate provisions for breakfast, lunch and snacks. We filled in with a few visits to local supermarkets. Parking was great and overall you could be anywhere on the island in 30 minutes or less. John the property manager offered great suggestions on things to do and see. He arranged a wonderful sunset cruise with meal, drinks and transportation to and from sailboat dock. Overall there is a lot to do and see on Santorini and The Michelangelo Beach Villa is an ideal location to enjoy the island.

Away from all the craziness of Oia yet central to all the places you want to go to. Jacuzzi on the balcony watching the sunset... Can't ask for much more! Thank you for a great stay.

Hidden Gem!
A beautiful, cozy and aesthetically pleasing Villa with a breathtaking view of Baxedes beach. Includes breakfast items, snacks and wine! The Villa was very clean with a lot of beautiful decor, plenty of fresh towels and linens provided. Our host, John, was extremely helpful and available at all times. The only drawback is the distance to center, Oia, unless you have a car, take the bus or pay for transportation during your stay. Overall a 5 star experience!

Great spot. Minutes from Oia
We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. The upstairs apartment has a gorgeous view of the Agean where you can experience Santorini sunsets AND sunrises from the same spot. Both are absolutely stunning. The lower level is spacious. The fridge was stocked with everything needed for breakfast. The back deck area with private cooling pool was such a treat and we used it all hours of the day and evening. The second sleeping area (a traditional cave-type space). Is charming, but offers limited headroom and maybe not full privacy, but this IS Santorini! The apartment was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower when needed. AC and WI-FI worked extremely well. This house is a bit out of the way (there is no Caldera view), but the view overlooking the Aegean is quite dramatic and with a car, it is very easy to get to all parts of the island. 5 minutes from Oia. 15 minutes to the airport. Maybe 20 minutes to Fira. We have been to Santorini several times and would certainly consider a return to Michelangelo! Great spot.

Private spot, but close enough to all you want to see and do!!
Quiet and private! Location was key to all we wanted to see. Stathis met us at the property and provided key information about the island. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the towns, but not in the town. The goodies / food provided was perfect for breakfast and late night sandwiches!

Beautiful views
Great place. Tony was fantastic in communicating and providing useful information. We had a wonderful time. A few things to note (not good or bad) but probably useful for other travelers— 1) the unit is up one flight of stairs. Not steep or difficult but since I have older parents, it’s just something I notice now. 2) the hydro massage tub is not a hot tub. It’s cool water. The listing states that but I missed it. Not a big deal as Santorini is often hot but in case you are traveling in winter. Again, we had a lovely time, place was gorgeous, and hosts were excellent. Highly recommend!!

Sehr zu empfehlen
Wir waren sehr überrascht von der wunderschönen Wohnung! Die Ausstattung war mehr als ausreichend und es war alles sehr sauber. Mit Frühstück wurde der Kühlschrank gefühlt und auch so gab es bereits Essen in der Wohnung. Die Lage war top und man kam gut mit dem Taxi nach Oia.

Winter in Santorini
The arrangements from booking to arrival was hassle free and Olga answered all the questions we had in preparation to our visit. The house was stocked with some initial basics (breakfast) was great in that we didn’t have to worry about first meal. Olga went out of her way to help us arrange for car rental which greatly allowed us to explore more of the island in our own time instead of wasting precious time waiting for bus/taxi. Her recommendations to local sights/restaurants was great. We look forward to our return to Santorini and would definitely return to this lovely house. The host (Olga) is by far the best that I have ever come across in all my travels!!!

Beautiful, Quiet Apartment
Amazing apartment, conveniently placed outside Oia, short 10 minute drive. Olga was a fantastic host. The apartment was cleaned and as advertised online. Great sunrise AND sunset every day. Do not hesitate to book!

Everything We Hoped For
We had a wonderful stay at Michaelangelo Suite. Olga was an amazing host, tending to all of our needs, including arranging transfer from the port and a rental car. Had problems with the electricity but Olga summoned an electrician right away who fixed the problem. We had 4 people staying in the villa - a 4-generation, girls getaway. My 18 year-old daughter and I slept in the loft and my mother-in-law and her mother slept in the bedroom. If ever back in Oia, Santorini, would definitely stay here again!

This is the best place ever
I love it it is quite and away form the busy towns right on the ocean beautiful and Olga my Josiah’s been so helpful beyond wonderful I recommend this villa to any that is coming to Santorini 😊

Property was perfect!
Olga is a fantastic host! Property is in a perfect location and is just as pretty as the pictures lead you to believe. Area is close to Oia and a short drive to the city! Highly recommend staying here!

Couldn't have been better!
We absolute loved out stay at Michelangelo suites. Maria and Olga were so helpful, arranging transfers, hire cars, advice on restaurants and spots to visit and anything else we needed. The late check our was very appreciated as we had a late evening flight. The property is beautiful - very comfortable with everything you need and stunning ocean views. The breakfast and snacks were fantastic, and while the weather let us down a little on our stay we still wouldn't change a thing.

Michelangelo Beach Villa Oct Stay
This is a charming apartment on Santorini Island. It sits overlooking the sea and is very close to the local's beach. The property manager, Olga is very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, fruit, bread, cheese and ham, water, (you can not drink the water on the island), cake, eggs and yogurt. Everything you might need for breakfast so that you don't have to find a store right away on arrival. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine. She had guide books and suggested restaurants and sights to see as well and provided us a cell phone that called her directly in the event we needed assistance. To say that two couples can stay here comfortably is a stretch as the loft bedroom has a very low ceiling clearance and even at 5'3", I could not stand up in the space. There is a steep ladder to the loft. Luggage stayed downstairs. The hot tub was a huge draw when booking this stay and we ended up disappointed. As there is no cover on it, when it got windy, it was impossible to heat and we could not use it for the last 3 days of our 5 day stay. Be aware that you will also need a car to stay here. It is on the main road to Oia, there are no sidewalks and traffic moves quickly. I would not risk walking on this road. Traffic noise is very loud; bring earplugs. I used the one fan in the master bedroom to drown out some of the traffic. We were not here during the summer and can't imagine how much more traffic there is then! It is a very convenient location from which to launch your trips and Olga was very attentive and accommodating. She is a joy to work with as hostesses go.

Dear Joyce thank you so much for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to rate us. Yes it is true that the ceiling is low on the loft bedroom but most of our guests find it very cozy and comfy. I would also like to thank you for mentioning the hot tub as next month we are planning a big renovation and the hot tub will be completely replaced so bad weather will not be an issue anymore. As for the noise, honestly this is the first time someone mentions it as our place is in a very quiet location and if you sleep with the windows open you can hear the sound of the waves. But thanks for mentioning that too so we will check it further during our renovation next month. Thanks again for everything and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future at our renovated Michelangelo Beach Villa.

A GREAT place.....but...
The beach and ocean was right below the house. The house was really nice and very well equipped. Olga manages the place and is awesome. Even giving us a flip phone with her number programmed in. Fruit. Juices, coffee etc ready to go. Great parking. So why not 5 stars??? Or more???. The second bedroom, loft. Might be good for 12 year olds but these bones don't go up a ladder to a 4ft.high bedroom...at its highest. Hauling the luggage up and down could be a 2 person operation. Crawling out of the floor mattress, which was comfortable, meant crabbing your way, butt down, to the stairs...then duck.If you're o.k. with this then a great, great place. And you get Olger.

Yes it is true that the loft bedroom is not very good for tall people but most of our guests loves it as it is simple and comfy wth beautiful sea views and when the windows are open you can hear the sound of the waves.

It was a beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view. The best part was the manager Olga who is awesome
The apartment itself is very cosy and clean and cute. The back veranda has a gorgeous view of the sea - from a height it's absolutely breathtaking. The manager Olga is one of the most welcoming hosts ever. She arranged a car and a cruise for us at the last minute, was always just an email away and provided us with a local cell phone to contact her at any time. This is very comforting when it's your first time in a place. The fridge was stocked with loaves of bread, eggs, cold cuts, tomatoes, fruit, juice and milk. So we had breakfast ready for the next day and did not need to get groceries right away. The wifi is included and worked well. The apartment was air conditioned and had a dishwasher but no laundry facilities. People should be aware that you really need to rent a car if you are going to stay here. Although we planned on walking into downtown Oia, there really isn't a walking route. The apartment is the second storey of a villa and the villa is right on a main highway with no sidewalk or footpath, not safe for pedestrians. There are no grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance except a pool bar with bar style food (pizzas, burgers, beverages) approx 600 metres away. So having a car ready when you get there to get around would be a good idea. The other option would be getting taxis wherever you go but that gets very expensive. We didn't go down to baxedes beach so can't comment on that. Overall we had a fantastic stay but the person who made it all worthwhile was definitely Olga. When someone is so focussed on making your experience personal and comfortable it's easy to let go of the minor negatives. Also the size of the apartment is really only good for 4 people - ideally a family with younger children since the second bedroom is a loft (not a full height - approx 3 feet high with a floor mattress). The main bedroom is comfy with a large bed. We were 5 people originally and one dropped out last minute. When we got there we realized that 5 adults would be very very tight. Hope this review is helpful. Happy trails !
