Great stay
Beautiful and clean hotel. Walking distance to everything and gorgeous view from the private patio. I couldn’t complain about a thing. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking items as well.

EXCELLENT HOTEL!
We have returned here numerous times over the years, with our kids as they grow up and this latest time as a couple...as the kids have grown up! Andreas and Eleftheria are exceptional hosts with a keen eye for detail and ensure everything is perfect at all times. They and the housekeeping ladies always great to see as we know a good holiday is about to start! Excellent rooms which are clean, comfortable and well equipped to make drinks and snacks, and with complimentary toiletries.

Perfect Base
This was our third stay at the Iliana Hotel. Our one bed apartment was spacious and, as always, immaculately clean. The owners, Andreas & Eleftheria, cannot do enough to help their customers and the Iliana a perfect base for touring the area (Bali, Rethymno,etc.) especially as it has its own gated car park. The Iliana doesn’t have its own restaurant but the adjacent “Il Camino” serves excellent meals in the evenings at very reasonable prices; most of the food served being sourced from the owners nearby farm.

Great place for a relaxing holiday. Spacious apartments with cooking facilities. We got a room with a stunning terrace. All three beaches and a large supermarket nearby.

The Iliana must be the best place to stay in Panarmos. Excellent location only a few minutes from the tavernas and bars. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Great sun beds - exceptionally comfy. Spotless pool - albeit a bit chilli but did the job of cooling you off! Studio apartment great - huge comfy bed, lovely cool cotton sheets,. Shower good size plenty of hot water, fluffy towels plus pool towels. Fridge kettle a couple of electric rings if you wanted to make a snack. Lovely breakfast as an optional extra for €5 each. Really can’t fault the place. I’ve no idea how it has only a 2* rating - it’s so much more. Enjoy!

Tolle familiäre Atmosphäre in ruhigem Fischerdorf
Wir können das Iliana wirklich empfehlen, uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die geringe Anzahl an Zimmern und somit Gästen und die freundliche, unaufdringliche und zuvorkommende Art der Beschäftigten haben eine Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen geschaffen. Unser Balkontürschloss war defekt, es hat sofort jemand vorbei geschaut und am nächsten Werktag wurde es repariert. Den Pool hatten wir meistens für uns alleine, allerdings waren wir auch außerhalb der Ferienzeit dort. Die Putzfrauen kamen zwar nur alle 2-3 Tage ins Zimmer, war aber völlig ausreichend. Den Platz für Bücher im Koffer kann man sich sparen, es gibt eine große Bücherecke. Salz, Pfeffer, Gewürze etc. sind nicht in der Küche vorhanden, evtl. schon von zu Hause mitnehmen, um dort nicht alles kaufen zu müssen.

We had a wonderful holiday at hotel Iliana. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and really helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect, the beach, restaurants and small supermarkets are all just a few minutes walk away. We can’t wait to return!

Großartiges Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen
Ein wunderbares Hotel mit vielen Appartements. In der Ausstattung alles da, was man braucht. Im Innenhof ein großer Pool. Einfach große Klasse. Das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für alles.

Quiet Oasis
We were so impressed with our week stay at the Iliana in September 2017 that we booked to return for a fortnight this September. The 377 sq ft apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Andreas and Eleftheria, the owners, were in attendance every day to quickly resolve any problems and give advice on where to visit and where to eat.

Hotel Iliana is a little Paradise in the middle of the village of Panormos. People are so friendly, this is very clean, and well maintained. Even clients are like a big family. It took us only a day to feel like home! Everything is near in the village, supermarket, stores, restaurants, excursions, taxis, cats 😁, and the beach. This was perfect for us, we loved Hotel Iliana. We certainly will be back!

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes, zentral gelegenes kleines Hotel. Ruhig in Panormos eingebettet, zwischen kleinen Gassen und Stränden. Kleine Tavernen, Cafes, Boutiquen und Shops in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotel ist ausnahmslos zu empfehlen.

sauberes nettes Hotel
Wir waren hier für eine Nacht. Sehr großes Zimmer mit Klima und 2 Balkonen. Den kleinen Pool haben wir nicht benutzt, er war aber tadellos sauber. Frühstück sehr einfach aber für jeden etwas dabei. Kostenloser Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nice hotel in a lovely little town with the beach
Tune hotel was so very Mediterranean looking and the staff were all very friendly and pleasant. Loved the little town, friendly ships and authentic fresh local cuisine.

Tout d'abord je conseil cet hotel pour les raisons suivantes : Accueil et services vraiment très satisfaisant , le patron est une perle ! Tout est très bien géré , si vous avez besoin de qq chose il est présent . La piscine est petite mais c'est suffisant. Apres les points noirs : Le village n'est ps terrible , les plages sont sales et rocailleuses , les restaurants sont cher et pas dans la moyenne de ce qu'on trouve généralement en crete . De plus si vous avez pas de voiture , c'est un peu la galère pour ce déplacer : oublier les sorties ici car c'est un village un mort. En ce qui concerne l'hôtel , je dirais que le ménage n'est pas satisfaisant. Très content de notre séjour , rien que pour l'accueil et le service et la piscine = le rapport qualité prix est très bon. Merci pour tout

Nous revenons d'un séjour d'une semaine. Hôtel très bien en tous points. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et de très bons conseils. Discret juste comme il le faut. Emplacement parfait au calme dans ce petit village encore traditionnel hors des grands hôtels. Restaurants dans le village très bien.

Wonderful vacation
We're a couple that staid at the Iliana for 7 nights. The Iliana is a great hotel, it's clean, has a nice pool, is close to restaurants and beaches. The owner was very vested in our well being and gives the best service. We even got a post card with a note of the time and phone number to the taxi driver picking us up at 04:30 in the morning of our departure. That was great! We've been to Crete a couple of times now and have been looking for a place to return to regularly. We loved the Iliana and can't wait to make our next booking here.

Great Greek stay
This is a really very well run, spotlessly clean but simple (typical Greek style) establishment. We went for a week so chose to take the hotel breakfast rather than faff about getting stuff in to make our own. We booked a studio room in the Hotel Iliana which had ample space for two of us but the fridge and simple electric hot rings would have enabled us to produce simple food had we so chosen. The taxi transfer to and from the hotel was arranged by the hotelier (Andreas) and went without a hitch. The taxi was reliable, of extremely high quality and driven safely and at moderate speed - what a blessing! Although we love Greece, we have not been for about five years now but we were not disappointed and we would certainly consider visiting again! For us, Panormos and the modest Hotel Iliana offer exactly what we are looking for in a Greek getaway to simply enjoy the sun, read a book and unwind - good, clean accommodation, small sandy beaches and a good choice of tavernas (with no pushy touts outside). We particularly liked the vehicular restrictions which means that most of the tavernas are on pedestrianised streets. When we went at the end of May 2016, there was no problem finding spare beach beds/brollies or a place to eat without needing to book.

The best hotel we ever stayed in
We have been to many countries and stayed in amazing 5 star hotels but nothing compares to Iliana, not because they are a 6 star hotel but because we were treated like family and that is priceless. During our 15 day stay both Andreas and Eleftheria revealed to be the kindest people we have encountered in our trips by far. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is amazing, the pool is beautiful, everything is very quiet and it's 2 min away from the beach so in terms of facilities I would still give the highest points in those aspects but what you can't really put into numbers is the honesty, kindness and genuine affection that these people have for their hosts (we later found out that there are people who repeat the stay every year, some of them have been repeating the stay for over 10 years now and it's understoodable why). The level of attention to detail is such that we told them that we loved the spinach pie they have in the breakfast buffet and when we came back we had 4pies in our room with a card written in Spanish (our language) saying "we thought of you and we know you will enjoy them". You only get this type of treatment from your mother! Don't think twice, this is THE place to stay in Panormo.

We loved being so close to Fira! The hotel was nice with a great free breakfast! The pool area was perfect, hidden away so not being watched by passer byes. Customer service isn't 5 star American standard, but for here great I'm sure.

A ne pas manquer
Accueil très chaleureux d'Andreas et sa femme. Ils sont très attentifs au confort des vacanciers et pleins de petites attentions. La piscine au centre de l'hôtel est bien agréable pour se rafraîchir et se détendre en discutant avec les voisins. Idéal pour passer quelques jours en couple ou en famille.
