"Amazing property . Loved the carved wood ceilings and wood panelled walls not to mention the secret door. Never seen so many books outside a library. unfortunately didn’t stay long enough to read any. Also a vast selection of DVDs. The communal lounge was magnificent, we didn’t use it but were very impressed. The rest of our accommodation housed everything we needed and was clean and functional. "We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days"
