"Better than expected. Quaint little cabin. Cleanliness is a 10. Owner has gone above and beyond to think of every little detail. Decor is spot on. Private, quiet, and homey. Close to restaurant and within reasonable walking distance to the lighthouse! Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and will help you if you aren’t sure exactly where you want to go/so. We took some of his advice and it was worth it. Definitely would consider staying here again! "

"Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!"

"The cabin is rustic and quaint but had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was beautiful and it was close to everything. A grocery store essentially right up the road, the town of Southwest harbor a couple miles down, very easy access to Acadia National Park. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to come again in the future!"

"We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!"

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure."

"Adorable tiny home cabin! Perfect spot because you can get to so many things. Peepers and the fire crackling at night, along with hiking around Acadia National Park, made this a perfect experience. So glad to get away from reality for a couple days and just enjoy nature and good company."

"A very charming cabin that’s located on an awesome property, overlooking a little bay off the Atlantic. One evening after having spent the morning on a lobster boat and then steaming lobster and crabs in the cabin, I walked down to the stone peak on the shore. There were two seals near a school of fish about 30 yards out. Two bald eagles then swooped by, followed by an osprey. Everything about Swans Island is just great, a friendly community.
