"I was visiting Acadia for a handful of days; I stayed in Bar Harbor the first couple of nights, and decided to split costs by staying here, a short drive away just off the island, for the rest. It's definitely a small room/bathroom, especially compared to my first spacious place in Bar Harbor, and everything was older/cheaper/lower quality than my first place, but I also wasn't staying here for a spa treatment, and it's a fine, clean place to shower and sleep in the evenings while spending most...

"Saltair Inn is fabulous. Our room was beautiful and had a very cozy feel, with a fantastic view. The hosts were great, and breakfast was terrific. It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this B&B and will not hesitate to stay there again."
