"The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. "Beautiful property in a lovely location for some amazing walks. Very dog friendly, bowls, towel and biscuits provided in the cottage. Town centre is walking distance where there are lots of dog friendly pubs and cafes. There are also shops in the town to pick up any supplies. Very quiet, relaxing and cosy cottage, looking forward to our next trip with our dogs for more lovely walks. Definitely recommend."

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. "Lovely little base for exploring everything the Lakes has to offer. Apartment lovely and clean, and ideally located with several shops and eateries nearby. Parking was fine for us with it being a quieter time of year (street parking) but I would imagine this would be a bit trickier in the busier months.
