Beyond anything we imagined!
The pictures do not even do this rental justice. The rooms are HUGE.. the beds are so comfy. 3 full bathrooms all equipped with towels bath wash shampoos etc. The Hot Tub was clean and relaxing. This place was immaculate.. spotless! I canā€™t say enough about how amazing our stay was! The living room has a big flat screen with all the apps installed for use. Lots of room for sitting in there as well! Giant kitchen! It was just perfect. ***** five star review!

This UP North Retreat is centrally located. Kick back by our inside Gas Fired Fire Place or at our Fire Pit Area. Relax in our awesome Hot Tub! Our Patio area is great for outside dinning and relaxing along with a Barbecue Grill. The outside area is a great place to hang out and relax, Fire Pit, Hot Tub, Blue Tooth Speakers, Hammock.

Amazing property

4 good sized rooms and 3 full bathrooms. Place came equipped with speakers for outside at the hot tub and everything you could need inside. You can tell the owners take pride I. The property. Not far from downtown traverse, made for a great girls trip.

Girls Weekend

Very clean and spacious. Plenty of space in the big kitchen for our snacks, bevies and for cooking. Check-in was a breeze and Jeff, the host, was responsive. Beware of the low height of the canopy bed--easy to bop your head on it the middle of the night when getting in and out of that bed. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and we rested well. Enjoyed the music outdoors while soaking in the hot tub. Our least favorite part of this place was the living room. The couches only seat up to 5 adults and they are uncomfortable and worn. Would recommend replacing with a large comfy sectional that seats up to 8 adults as the home can sleep up to that many. Our particular group likes to have a space where we can relax together--the current furniture would deter us from renting this place again.

We had a lovely stay! The King Ranch is lovely, clean, and in an excellent location (with big, cozy beds and a warm fireplace) - close enough to all the sights, and yet in a relaxing, treeā€™d location that made our stay relaxing and fun! Definitely recommend, and the host is easy to chat with, very accommodating, and ensured we had a lovely stay.

Great Stay

The property was great, very clean and comfortable and great communication from the owner. There was quite a bit of snow there but it was plowed and shoveled around the property which was appreciated. Absolutely would recommend.

PERFECT Option for Crystal Skiing

This was the 2nd time staying at this property, as we loved it so much the first time we knew we wanted to rent again when we went back up to ski at Crystal Mountain. About a 20 minute drive from Crystal, it has SO much room for 2 families to share the space. Every amenity you could want, including a hot tub and TWO washers and dryers! Perhaps the best part though is the communication, ease of check in, and willingness to go above and beyond by the owners to be sure our stay was absolutely perfect. We will absolutely look to stay here every time we come up!

Very well maintained, host was very proactive by checking in with us. Left snow shovel & salt available. Hot tub was a hit with all of us for our downtime. Perfect Bachelorette Trip

I was looking for a secluded, relaxing cabin for my low-key bachelorette party and the King Ranch was perfect! I had myself and 4 girls come up and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the house was. One of my friends is always up by 5-6 AM naturally and even she slept until 10AM, the beds were SO comfy! Our host Jeff was amazing and responsive, reaching out to make sure we hadnā€™t had any issues checking in and being quick to respond when we had any questions. We all loved our stay and already have discussed coming back again!

Serenity with plenty of room

We stayed at the property for our siblings and spouses trip together. The house is quite spacious and with three couples, we each had our own bathroom, although only on was ensuite. there was plenty of room in each bedroom. The family room, dining room and well-stocked kitchen were also very spacious. We enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs a couple of afternoons and evenings. And, even though we were not in Traverse City, there were restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I also have to comment on what a good host that Jeff was. He was very responsive and attentive to our needs. The coffee maker that was there when we arrived was very slow, so he bought a brand new one and dropped it off within an hour. When we had trouble connecting with Netflix, he was available to help even later in the evening. We would highly recommend this property and Jeff.

Perfect secluded retreat

5 adults stayed here. Throughout the stay, Jeff was communicative, asking if everything was going well. Truthfully, we all loved the house. Plenty of room inside and the back yard was fabulous, with a fire pit and outdoor speakers. Close to Interlochen and Traverse City and only a short drive to Sleeping Bear dunes and lake Michigan. We loved our stay at King Ranch.

Perfect Family Getaway

Amazing space!! Ideal for a family or couples getaway with all the hot spots in easy driving distance. We enjoyed Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mission Point, plenty of beach combing, and a tour of Grand Traverse Bay aboard the Discovery Cruise. We also loved the fire pit and hot tub at night. The four separate bedrooms were ideal for our family of five - the King Ranch has plenty of space, everything you need, and a lot of privacy. While you can hear some traffic, it is super quiet! We would definitely stay again.

Spacious and quiet property

We loved our stay in the king ranch! The property was perfect for our teens and dog. We loved that the yard had woods surrounding it and was set back from the road, and the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We werenā€™t too far away from Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City but also far enough away to soak in the quiet. Jeff was a great host!

Very spacious

This place was great for 6 of us friends to get away for a long girls weekend. I was able to bring my dog, which was so nice and helpful. The house is very spacious with lots of seating, we especially enjoyed the bar area with stools for sitting, and eating and chatting; as well as the dining room table. The bed was a bit firm for my liking, but overall the bedrooms were great. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and it was nice that a few towels were provided for the hot tub as well. We all noted how there was plenty of paper products (paper towel, TP) which was nice and not something you always get with a rental. Traverse City was close, only a 20ish min drive. Sleeping Bear Dunes/Platte River area was only about 35 mins. Very nice, convenient location. We would definitely rent this place again. :-)

Peaceful and spacious!

Jeff was a great host. Communication and check in process was easy. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a bonfire and enjoyed the hot tub. Never felt like we were on top of each other when inside. Great visit and close to TC and Interlochen.
