"Really beautiful old manor house. Gorgeous grounds. Really great location. The room was comfortable and in keeping with the hotel style. The bed was not the best but was comfortable enough. There were a few niggles around the room but these were minor and didnt affect our stay. A little more care with the cleaning wouldake a big difference but the room was clean enough (for example we found parts of a broken necklace under the dressing table). " We were travelling around Norfolk n wanted an hotel as a mid travel stop off. We couldn’t have found a better place. So much so we booked for our return trip. The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. I want specifically mention from the housekeeping team - Diana, Samintha and Hermique. Thank you again. "

"Brilliant 1 night stay at the Geese and Fountain. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly, the evening food was absolutely brilliant and the breakfast, well, what an absolute dream. Will definitely stay again if in the area."

"A nice family stay, quiet village pub. The host was very helpful including recommending an evening meal in the next village which was great (fighting cocks pub). It seems the venue has stopped doing food, but having said that she still provided us with a perfectly good breakfast. The room was clean, a nice little street village view, we all slept well. Great for country walking, a family visit and somewhere quieter in a local pub."

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next time" When I went to dinner my choice, battered haddock wasn't available, i think on a Saturday early evening this is totally unacceptable. The shower screen had black mould along the bottom which had been sealed in with sillicon, the kettle lid was broken making a refil almost impossible and the hairdryer had no nozzle to style my hair.. Resulting in "I won't be booking with you again". Regards Sue Smith"
