"We had the most wonderful two-night stay at Rooterville, with the most peaceful sleep. Beds were super comfortable, waking up to the sheep grazing right outside our room was so sweet and feeding the animals while they followed us around the farm was so much fun! Turkeys who let you “hug” them, friendly pigs, sheep, cows and mini horses. Amazing experience, we will be back soon!"

"We had such a wonderful stay here. The farmhouse was spacious, comfortable, and had great air conditioning - which was very appreciated in August! Each bedroom also had an excellent sound machine, so despite being surrounded by animals outside, the house itself was super quiet for sleeping. "The owner was very rude replying to me about a situation. I paid a cleaning fee, and I cleaned above and beyond what was expected. I was unaware that my dog peed on the floor and desk. I would have cleaned it also. She did not have to be rude. I apologized and paid an additional fee. She claimed damages that only needed cleaning . The water from the shower smelled like rotten eggs. "This was the cutest place to stay for our honeymoon! The staff was so kind and left us a bottle of wine. It was a quiet secluded area. If you’re ready to unplug and unwind this was perfect. Cell service works totally fine but who needs it when you’re in such a wonderful location! There was a grill and lots of extra amenities in the mill and the lodge. We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer!! "
