"The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any communication. The property itself was good overall. However, we experienced a water outage for one night during our stay, which was disappointing and the rooms were not super clean. Since I booked last-minute, I paid a premium rate, and given the issues, I don’t think the property quite justified that price."

"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."

"This was the perfect place to stay and explore trails around Lake Superior provincial park! Sandra is very thoughtful and goes out of her way to make your stay wonderful! Plentiful snacks, coffee and tea here! Plus she has great recommendations. Everything is clean. Plus you’ll never get bored because there are so many art pieces to explore around the house. In town within walking distance, it a short drive, to all the beautiful shops downtown but with a very private vibe of being nestled in the woods.....hosts were incredible, very communicative and helpful. Space was large and clean and firepit was a bonus.....highly recommend and we plan on returning!!!"

"The cottage was very comfortable for our two night stay. It was a bit confusing to find since it sits on the owners property and it can not be seen from the road. You have to pull into the owners driveway and initially we thought we were at the wrong place. It should be mentioned in the information given about the rental. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area again."
