20 3rd Ave., West and first Street.Great harbor view Right in the heart of town.

A two bedroom one bath with a pull out couch. Private off road parking in the summer & on the road in the winter. The house was remodeled and has a great yard with an awesome view over looking the harbor and Lake Superior.

This was My Mom and Dadā€™s house. We put a lot into the house and want it cared for the way we think it should.This is why we have a no dogs and kids between the ages of three and ten. Sorry about this but we have your reasons itā€™s not that we donā€™t like dogs or kids. Thatā€™s not it.
We hope you stay with us and love The View as much as our family.

Scenic view

We have stayed at many properties in Grand Marais over the past 50 years and was very happy at this home. The view was amazing both from inside and outside of the Grand Marais Harbor. The living room/dining area was huge and great for family gathering. We found everything we needed for our week long stay and communication with Mickey was great. Highly recommend this home.

Awesome North Shore Experience

We came up for the Le Grand Du Nord race. The property is right along the finish line of the race. It is walkable to everywhere in town including Java Moose, and Voyageur brewing which is right behind the property. Open floor plan in the kitchen and living room made it easy for our group to gather over meals and activities. We loved our stay and will be returning again!

Perfect Location

This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again.

Grand Marais get away

We enjoyed the long weekend in Grand Marais. The house was very nice and it has a gorgeous view of the harbor and Lake Superior. Walking distance to almost anywhere you might want to go in town. The only complaint was the utensils in the kitchen for cooking was lacking.

The comforts of home close to town with a view

I was surprised how large the main room was, even though the photos showed it that way. Thankful for recliners and lovely view and deck. Thoughtful owner responded quickly and we even got to meet him. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the full kitchen that had condiments light ketchup and mayonnaise, etc. Right next to brewery but they close early and were never loud. Close to everything if you want to go and do, but lovely to just stay and relax there, too!

Beautifully remodeled ā€œhome with a view!ā€ Everything you need is here and youā€™ll want to stay longer. Walk to Worldā€™s Best Donuts to start your day. Enjoy this terrific town. Mickey, the owner, also stopped by to say, ā€œHiā€ and see if we needed anything. Heā€™s a great Ambassador and resource for his hometown GM! Makes you feel as if you have a friend in town.

Comfortable and clean with great views!

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Grand Marais and hiked in the area. The house was a perfect home base for taking in the north shore. We had everything we needed and more. It is very conveniently located so we didnā€™t drive in town at all. The views from the deck or out the living room window paired perfectly with my morning coffee. Would highly recommended!
