"What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!"

"Perfect little cabin! Very clean and dog friendly! We stayed there four nights, and we’ll definitely be coming back! We actually met one of the property owners during our stay.. very friendly and very accommodating! And the views.. I can’t say enough about the beautiful views! Right on Lake Superior.. Amazing sunrises! Bonfire’s on the beach! It was kinda nice to disconnect from the every day TV’s and WiFi! "

"Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! "It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. "We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!"

"I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. "

"My stay was wonderful. It was so dark at night and so quiet. I saw the Northern Lights and a shooting star while sitting on the deck. The cabin was very clean, neat and cozy. The bathroom was clean and I was happy to find out that it had lights. It was close to town but felt like it was miles away. I would definitely recommend staying here."
