Beautiful custom home, fully handicapped accessible, and completely kid friendly! Your dogs are welcome, and there is an enclosed area off the deck especially for them. Wireless internet, cable, and local phone line. Relax by the gas fireplace with a book or games (puzzles and games provided). Or go outside to relax in the hot tub built into the large deck. Sleeps 10 in beds, 2 in sleeper sofa bed, and 2 more little ones in a crib or pack and play. Sofa sleeper is in second den with doors that close to create 5th bedroom. Dining table, extra table, and additional chairs to seat all sleeping guests. Just ask for any children's items you might need--we have toys, games, videos, booster, jog stroller, etc.

Perfection! Our family of 5 stayed here over Thanksgiving break and it was just what we needed. We wanted a nice getaway in the mountains to be together. I looked for pet friendly and hot tub and this gem popped up. The fenced in area for the dogs and gates in the deck were truly life savers and make the whole vaca stress free without having to worry about our dogs escaping and leashing them every time they went outside. The hot tub was incredible (I used it multiple times a day lol!). The views and trees so peaceful and made my heart happy. We even roasted marshmallows at the fire pit outside. The house is large and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out or come together for movie nights and board games. The kitchen and double ovens were amazing, and our Thanksgiving meal came together perfectly! It had all the amenities you can think of. Our host was communicative and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was smooth from start to finish. I look forward to coming back in the Summer!

Property was great! We had a big group over for dinner the night before our daughter's wedding, then 7 of us enjoyed a stay here. Quiet neighborhood, great host. Our grandson loved playing with all the toys!

Communication with the owner was great. Property and house were beautiful. really cool back yard was great for the three families that stayed there…lots of common space but also lots of nooks and crannies to create separation. in the perfect spot, 1 minute to the marina, 3 to the city, 4 to the park. would definitely recommend!

We have stayed here twice for a family getaway, and love the place. Roomy, cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. Beautiful, natural, quiet environment. Hot tub a real plus, and back porch eating in fine mountain weather delightful. We all (ages 2-1/2 to 77) wished we could have stayed longer!

Perfect place for a family get together!

Our family stayed here to celebrate my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful visit! The hot tub, fire pit, and deck were big hits with our group. There was plenty of room for our large group to spread out and we thought the location was great. I highly recommend this property!

Family get together

Celebrated the 4th of July at this Gem. It was a fantastic weekend. This house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more! We can’t wait to visit again! Easy access, within walking distance to lake beautiful views and so close to town and surrounding towns. Book now , you won’t be disappointed!

Great cabin for families

I stayed with my wife and three kids 12-17 for five nights, and we had a wonderful time. The cabin is a short, convenient drive to Grand Lake but still feels secluded. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom and for board games and a puzzle. We really enjoyed the hot tub when the evening got cool, and the sun room was great for morning coffee. The house was very clean, well equipped, and well maintained.

Cozy Cabin!

Great little cabin above Shadow Mtn. Lake. About a mile from the Grand Lake turnoff off. 4/5 bedrooms. We slept 10 comfortably with plenty of room. Kitchen is wide open to the dining room livingroom was comfy but smaller. Accor ding to all the beds were nice. Hot

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful, and just as the pictures showed. It was perfect for our famiiy, we had plenty of room to spread out, and cuddle up. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed. The views from the deck, and the street were anazing. We would stay here again!

Birthday Getaway

Wonderful home

We stayed here 4 years ago and really enjoyed our time. I was a little worried that maybe things had changed (for the worse) and that was not the case. Very well stocked home. Nice location, quiet. The hot tub was a huge hit! Thanks so much Katie!!!

This is No cabin! Delux mountain home

We had a full house and everyone was comfy from toddlers on up! The kitchen/dining area was our constant hang out with family coming and going while we made the most of our stay. We loved it all and hope we are able to return in the future. Katie, the owner was just THE best!!!

Rocky Mountain Park Trip

Our family, which consisted of a 2yo, 11yo and 5 adults stayed in this lovely home. We enjoyed the large kitchen and deck with the hot tub. The laundry was a huge plus as well. We were very close to the park and the town of Grand Lake was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Katie's property! It was more spacious than anticipated. The outdoor area on the property is awesome- there's a large deck with a fire pit, a campfire and a kids playground. There were lots of games and toys. We definitely recommend Katie's place and would stay there again.

Fantastic!!

Great for our family vacation! Katie was very helpful during our stay. Hot tub was perfect. We watched the fireworks from the deck on the 4th. Couldn’t ask for more.

Good Stuff in Grand Lake

This was probably the best location for our yearly family trip. Close to Grand Lake yet it felt secluded. Fire pit area was a big hit with cooking and guitar playing. The house is tidy with plenty of space. Kitchen is open and allows for many chefs to spoil the soup. If we decide to go back to this part of Colorado, we will stay here again. Katie was very responsive and check-in was a breeze.
