Unbelievable Views, Perfect Location and Great Fun Lake House

Unbelievable Views, Perfect Location and Great Fun are found in this three bedroom and two bath Lake and Play House. Best part of the lake for views, boating and all boating activities (by dam). You are literally on the lake when you step out on the deck. The deck is directly over the dock with a boat slip for greatest enjoyment. You can see the spectacular views of the Lake from nearly every room in the home. There are amazing sunrises but the hot evening sun is over the hillside so the deck is shaded in the late afternoon. You will be 10 miles from the Historic Granbury Square and 15 miles to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose. The Pecan Golf course is only 3 miles away, while the challenging Squaw Valley golf course in Glen Rose is 9 miles away. This 3 story on the water home is perfect for short getaways to extended stays.

Lovely place to stay! We were running Spartan races nearby and it was a perfect spot to stay and relax after some long days. The deck overlooking the lake was my favorite.

The deck was amazing! The property was nice. The neighbors were amazing and friendly. I would definitely recommend bringing towels and wash clothes as there are only a handful. All and all we enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful Location! Great views!

Took my wife and our kids to enjoy a lake weekend and we couldn’t have been happier. The place has everything you need to enjoy some time reconnecting with your family and doing outdoor activities. Great host!

FABULOUS

This home is located in a quiet area on Lake Granbury, It's a 2-story "chalet" with a boat dock, a huge deck, and plenty of space inside and outside. There's ample seating in the comfortable living area, and the home is clean and comfortable. The host was very quick with responses to my questions.

Great home, host, and location

The home is very comfortable, awesome location, amazing host, and a short drive to Granbury and Glen Rose. We enjoyed our stay, the host was very responsive and timely with all communication. We definitely recommend this home to anyone and we are looking forward to booking again in the near future.

Fabulous location on the lake

Superb, expansive deck over the big part of Lake Granbury makes this property an excellent place to spend the day with boaters (and even the occasional float plane) of all kinds active on the water. The house is well stocked and has plenty of room. The small community this property resides in feels remote, yet is a mere 10 minute drive to Granbury's plaza with its restaurants and shops. Great place to stay.

Lakeside christmas

The views of the lake are incredible! We had a small issue with the code when checking in and the host was immediately available to help. This is the perfect location for us to visit family in Pecan Plantation and the space is comfortable and clean. Will definitely try to stay again.

Very nice place. Great view. Parking a little tight if you have more than 3 cars and/or guests over but it's manageable. Convient to both Glen Rose and Granbury.

4th of July Fun

This was a perfect property for the plans we had to meet 2 other friend couples at Lake Granbury over the 4th of July. We were able to bring our 20ft ski boat and dock it safely and conveniently at the property so that we could easily get out on the water for two consecutive days of lake fun. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook out while spending our evenings on its deck with its gorgeous lake views. The house is also only a 20 minute drive into Granbury with all that it has to offer. We enjoyed a show at Granbury Live and went for pastries at Baked. So fun! I give this property and its host my highest rating.

Watched the eclipse here. It was a great location on the water. Very relaxing. Host was very responsive to questions before and during stay. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Lake Granbury Weekend Trip

This is a beautiful, clean home right on the lake and a short drive to Granbury restaurants, marina and City Center. The deck has a majestic view of the sunrise. The hill on the west side of the home provide shelter from the late afternoon sun.

Beautiful Views

Three couples recently stayed at this property while in town for a wedding! The deck was the perfect place for our daily happy hour(s)! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake and the close proximity to the wedding venue. Only recommendation would be at this price point to upgrade the bathroom linens (something thicker than old swim towels) and plusher pillows!

A wonderful break!

This is a beautiful lake house! We simply loved it! The place itself is very comfortable and done up aesthetically and the deck that overlooks the lake is the icing on that cake. It was so pleasant to sun ourselves on the deck and observe the pelicans and other birds swoop down and glide about in the water. The balcony attached to the Master bedroom, above, was also lovely. It was nice to sit there when we wanted privacy. Wonderful to watch the sunrise over the lake, from the bed in the Master bedroom. It’s a glorious sight to wake up to. We are vegetarians and prefer cooking our meals and we found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Only thing, do keep in mind that their dish-ware and dinnerware heats up very quickly. You will need to wait a minute or two before you can remove it from the microwave. Not a deal-breaker. We were in no rush and figured out how to use it. Another thing to keep in mind, especially if you have little children, is the staircase leading up to the two bedrooms. The child’s bedroom is directly opposite to the stairs, and the Master bedroom is opposite to that bedroom. So the stairs is directly visible from the child’s bedroom, but you exit the Master and turn right to immediately approach the stairs. We kept forgetting that the stairs were there, at the start, but we got used to the layout soon. If you have little children, keeping an eye on them so that they don’t wander off, or blocking off that area, with a pet gate/child gate or some such thing, might be a good idea. The place is well furnished. The laundry room had everything we needed. The TV came in handy when it got cold outside. There is a Walmart and HEB, within 20 minutes, for groceries and other things that you may need, and a Dollar store about 5 minutes away. A lifesaver when we needed Bengay in the evening and didn’t want to drive out too far. The weather was a little cold for us when we visited, and so we didn’t do much exploring. But we did go to the Dinosaur Valley State Park on one day and another local park another time. We could take our dogs, on leash, to both places. We’ll hope to explore more when we visit next. All in all, a lovely stay. Thank you, Twiletta, for making our stay enjoyable.
