Charming
Shelbie has thought of everything! Coffee and tea fixings, water bottles in the fridge, glasses chilling in the freezer for your beer. You can enjoy all of the above on on the back porch rocking chairs and enjoy the beautiful backyard view. Bathrooms were also well appointed and clean. The house is absolutely adorable. Great for a girls weekend. Location was perfect- just as advertised. I took Shelbie’s Granbury walking tour and learned all about the town’s history! Cannot say enough. Enjoy!

The property is amazing! Shelbie has done an outstanding job creating a warm and welcoming place to stay. The history is so interesting! Definitely a fun and unique house!!!

Sweet little getaway
My husband and I brought our one year old for a little getaway. Shelbie’s house is the perfect spot to step back in time and enjoy the beauty around you. It also is in a fantastic location for anything you have planned. We were able to walk everywhere and explore the area easily. Would highly recommend Shelbie’s place!

Quaint cabin
Property manager was quick to respond. You could see the lake from the back porch. The back porch was actually my favorite place to hang out.

Birthday getaway
Perfect for a birthday getaway weekend! Great location walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Home was well-appointed with everything we needed and wanted for a cozy retreat.

Nice and convenient to activities
Perfect weekend getaway walking distance to lake and park and the downtown area. Kitchen a bit small but sufficient for breakfast omelets and pancakes along with tacos for a stay at home dinner. Treats available on arrival, kids loved that, and the games and videos kept us entertained before bedtimes. Two baths and the distance between bedrooms is a plus as it provides a bit of privacy. And the antique shops and the edge of the property make for some interesting exploring. It was a perfect spot for us grandparents with two grandchildren, 9 and 6, in tow. Very quiet at night with nice walking and jogging trails at the edge of the property. We would stay there again.

Cutest Cottage
My husband, me, my sister and her husband met up for a weekend here. We loved it and had so much fun! We all love the cottage so much! This was my husband's and my second time to stay here.

Shelbie has a winner!
My sisters and I stayed at Shelbie’s cottage this weekend. We got there Friday night and enjoyed a movie on her entertainment system. Saturday was for taking pictures at her wooded, natural backyard and enjoying the short walk to local shopping and historical sites. Sunday, we leisurely rose, ate and checked out. Shelbie’s cottage had plenty of teas and coffees for us ( also snacks if we wanted.) The rooms were comfortable and cute. We like what she’s done with the place. We would come back. Thank you so much, Shelbie!

Amazing Stay
We had a wonderful stay at heavenhill for our anniversary!! It was the neatest house!! So close to everything and walkind diatance to the square, beach, walking trails, parks, antique stores. We had such a great time and very much enjoyed the house!! House was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed just checking out all the details of the house as much as we did the museums in town.

Great getaway
My husband and I stayed in this property for our 1 year anniversary. It was so cute and close to everything. We were able to enjoy the beach, antique shopping and downtown! Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful and Quiet!

Absolutely AMAZING
This place is a perfect getaway especially if you enjoy historical homes. Shelbie has done an amazing job preserving the history of the home while balancing the modern expectations of her visitors. She was super easy to contact, reached out to us to check in making sure everything was fine and even went above and beyond by sending us a list of fun things to do in Granbury. She knew we had our 10 year old so she shared things that we could all enjoy. We will definitely stay here again and we HIGHLY recommend Shelbie and her hidden gem in Granbury.

Girls trip to Granbury!
Loved this historical cottage! Very clean, comfortable and very near the beautiful town square! We enjoyed all that Granbury has to offer! It was perfect for 3 high school friends to getaway & shop & eat! Thanks Shelbie we loved it!

Shelbie has done an amazing job on this home. It is truly a labor of love. Sitting in the rockers on the back porch drinking our coffee each morning was probably our favorite part! This house is a step back in time...Shelbie didn’t miss a single beautiful detail! We enjoyed shopping the square in Granbury and went to see “Hello Dolly” at the Granbury opry Saturday night...absolutely amazing talent! If we could give this house 10 stars, we would!!!

Wonderful historic home a walk into yesteryear with the convenience of home. Great hostess in ms Miller close to the square and very accessible to all other places of interest. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charming house, perfect location
What a great find! The house was wonderful. Historical but with all the modern conveniences. The record player was a nice touch for example. The location was perfect too. Steps away from the public beach; 5 minutes away from the town square and all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Must needed long weekend.
We loved everything about the house, from the comfy living room to the beautiful back porch. We loved sitting on the back porch hearing the birds sing and watching the squirrels scurrying up and down the trees. The inside of the house was comfy cozy with all the amenities that we needed. Thank you for everything. We will be back.

A step back in time

Impeccable Historic home
What a wonderful treat! Loved this home and it’s history. It was adequately stocked and appointed. Tastefully decorated and dutifully clean. My family of four enjoyed our walk to the square a few times, even in the pouring rain and chilly weather. The house was a warm and dry refugee the entire weekend. We loved the sound of the rain on the metal roof, sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered porch, and drawing at the kitchen table while listening to some great records.

Perfect mother daughter trip!
We stayed at Heaven Hill for a much needed mother daughter trip. We loved everything about our stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed and then some! It was very clean and organized. Shelbie has made great use of every space in the house and her decorating is top notch. The location was excellent! It was too cold to walk to the shops and the square but it certainly was do-able in better weather. We highly recommend Heaven Hill for those needing a small, quaint place to stay close to the historic square and some great restaurants in Granbury.

When I first walked into Heavnhill, I caught my breath. It was so identical to the farmhouse my husband grew up in. I immediately felt at home. My friends were shocked that I had found such a cute, relaxing place in such a great location. We were in awe of the entire place. the porch was the icing on the cake. The down side we had was the furniture in the living room was not comfortable for sitting very long, We all have knee and back issues.. The twin beds were too soft for our back issues. Loved Heavenhill, 'but don't think I could stay again more than one night.

Perfect Location for a Granbury weekend.
I’ve stayed here before and loved the house with its quaint decor and perfect location to downtown and antique shopping. The back porch was fun watching a thunderstorm go through town and the accommodations were very clean which resulted in a perfect and relaxing getaway. When we arrived, the home and property were exactly as advertised. We loved that it was unique, rustic and eclectic compared to most properties we've stayed. Very quiet neighborhood w/a relaxing back patio. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the back patio in the morning. The owner communicated all we needed for our stay and was very attentive. Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Granbury has all the events for a fun patriotic 4th. The Heavenhill cottage was adorable, historical, quaint, charming, lovely, well appointed and within walking distance. The details in its restoration are amazing and the modern bathrooms are perfect! Shelbie was a wonderful and gracious hostess.

It was a lovely stay and close to the beach! Only concern we’re the amount of bugs that snuck into the house. Two wasps, 3 beetles, and tiny bugs in the sink in the a.m.

A lovely weekend getaway
Great weekend in Granbury. Property is awesome location - walking to square and local shops and restaurants was a breeze for all of us including the 7 year olds. Fun antique stores literally next door, as is the city beach (kids were very happy with that)! Property is unique - possibly the most vintage charm I have ever seen curated in one place. Would reccomend!

Incredible property
Love this place. On the outside it is "oh no" is this going to be ok? Walk in and it is perfect - killer ktchen, good bedrooms, modern bathrooms and outdoor space/deck with rockers - kick back, relax. This is a classic in that it integrates the old with the new. Shelbie was a good communicator - we had a little glitch in our timing and she just rolled with it - so it worked out great for us. Yes I would return! Kevin

Omg love this place
If you love a farm house with antiques this is the place for you!! This place is amazing walking distance to the town square it’s quiet and relaxing best place to sit and have coffee in the morning is on the back porch! We highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!!

Absolutely wonderful!!
Location was perfect !! Walking distance to the beach and all the square restaurants and shops. The house was absolutely beautiful and fully stocked of everything we needed . Easy check in and out. Will definitely be coming back to this property in the future travels.
